Day 1: Moscow

Welcome to Moscow. Upon arriving at the airport you will be transferred to your hotel where you have the rest of the day at leisure. Capital of Russia, home of the mighty Kremlin and the legendary Red Square and the city that inspired dozens of spy novels. This amazing city began as a small provincial outpost but has become the cutting edge epicentre of Russia, with a hedonistic night scene and jam packed full of Russian history.

Day 2: Moscow

Enjoy a guided tour today. You enjoy a walking tour of Red Square and the mighty Kremlin today. Red Square is dominated by the spectacular and iconic St Basil’s Cathedral, with its brightly coloured turban shaped domes. Red Square is also the site of the historic and ritzy GUM department store and Lenin’s Mausoleum. Next to Red Square is Russia’s political power house - the Kremlin. Our walking tour takes in the treasures of the golden domed Kremlin, its cathedrals, Ivan the Great’s Bell Tower and the Tsar Bell - the largest bell in the world, which weighs in at over 200 ton!

Days 3-4: Moscow

The next 2 days you have at leisure.

Day 5: Moscow - St Petersburg

Today you take a day train to St Petersburg. Upon arriving in St Pete's you will be transferred to the hotel where you have the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 6: St Petersburg

Today you will enjoy a city tour with your English speaking guide for 4 hours. You will visit Peter and Paul Fortress before then also visiting St Isaac's Cathedral. This evening you will go on a White night boat tour.

Day 7: St Petersburg

Day at leisure.

Day 8: St Petersburg - Novgorod

Today you depart for Novgorod. This pretty town is of historic interest; being one of the oldest towns in the country, and once the leading political and cultural centre of Russia, when Moscow was just a small provincial outpost.

Day 9: Novgorod - St Petersburg

Today you return to St Petersburg.

Day 10: St Petersburg

Today we bid you farewell and transfer you to the airport for your onward flight home.
