Day 1: Moscow
Welcome to Moscow how to the might Kremlin. Upon arrival you will be met by our local representatives and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight Moscow.
Day 2: Moscow
Start the day with a guided walk of Kitay-Gorod (one of the oldest parts of Moscow) and Lubyanka area. You'll see ancient churches and buildings and the outside of the FSB (successor to the infamous KGB) as you head to the highlight of your walk - the impressive Red Square. Experience the magic of Moscow as you approach the Resurrection gate - a beautiful red archway that leads to Red swuare, from where you can catch your first glimpse of the wonderfully coloured fairytale castle of St Basil's.
Day 3: Moscow - St Petersburg
Today, we tour Russia’s powerhouse - the mighty Kremlin, with guided walk through the grounds where we’ll see numerous government buildings, gold-domed cathedrals and the tsar bell - the largest bell that never rang! Afternoon at leisure. Later this evening we board our overnight sleeper train bound for Moscow (dep 24:00 arr 5th 08:00am).
Day 4: St Petersburg
Welcome to the city of the Tsars! Arrival transfer to your hotel. After your hotel check in enjoy a full day of sightseeing where you will visit the Peter and Paul Fortress which were the original citadel of St. Petersburg, Russia. Later you take a tour of the Hermitage. Overnight St Petersburg.
Day 5: St Petersburg
Enjoy anther full day sightseeing to the gardens of Peter the Great’s Peterhof, which overlook the Gulf of Finland (summer). After we continue with a guided tour of the interior of The Church on Spilled Blood with time to shop in the souvenir market located alongside the church. Overnight St Petersburg.
Day 6: St Petersburg
Your time in Russia comes to an end as your are transferred to the airport in time for your departure flight.
