Day 1: Vladivostok
Welcome to Vladivostok! Arriving here you will be transferred to your hotel. Today is at leisure to explore. (OVERNIGHT AT HOTEL VLADIVOSTOK - Standard Twin Room - 3,5,6,7th floor)
Day 2: Vladivostok
For today and tomorrow enjoy time at leisure to explore this fascinating city. There is so much to see and do perhaps visit Vladivostok port and see a decommissioned submarine, Vladivostok Fortress or the Oceanarium, and much much more - At some point you will touch base with our local rep to collect your train tickets for the journey ahead. (OVERNIGHT AT HOTEL VLADIVOSTOK - Standard Twin Room - 3,5,6,7th floor)
Day 3: Vladivostok - Trans Siberian train
We will transfer you to the station, to board Train 1413 - 119:14/18:52 +3, destined for Irkutsk.
Days 4-5: Trans Siberian train
For today and tomorrow settle into life aboard the train as it journeys through Russia's Far East region; this is also where Siberia officially ends and starts. Interesting fact is that the train journeys through sometimes within 10km of the Chinese border!
Day 6: Trans Siberian train - Baikal Area
Arriving at 18:52 today provided the train runs as scheduled. Arrival and our local rep awaits to take you to your hotel. (OVERNIGHT - Angara Hotel, Irkutsk in Standard Twin Room on the 7th floor) Transfers included
Day 7: Baikal Area
For today enjoy time to explore this fascinating region of Russia! You can go hiking around the lake, or perhaps visit the Museum of Wooden Architecture or the Baikal Limnological Museum or just wander around and enjoy seeing the beautiful historic churches & cathedrals, wooden houses adorned with ornate hand made carvings as well as the Decembrist houses. (OVERNIGHT - Angara Hotel, Irkutsk in Standard Twin Room on the 7th floor)
Day 8: Baikal Area - Trans Siberian train
You will be transferred back to the station to catch Train 1 'Rossiya' - 06:45/05:52 +3 destined for Moscow.
Days 9-10: Trans Siberian train
For today and tomorrow settle into life aboard the train as it journeys through Siberia. Enjoy views across tracts of Siberia and the Ural Mountains before continuing west and on to mighty Moscow!
Day 11: Trans Siberian train - Moscow
Welcome to Russia’s capital, Moscow! Our friendly local rep awaits your arrival at approximately 05:52, to transfer you to your hotel. (OVERNIGHT - Izmaylovo Gamma Hotel, Moscow Standard Twin Room only) Transfers included
Day 12: Moscow
For today and tomorrow there is so much to see and do the list is endless! Enjoy the night life, visit Museums, head out of town to see the lakes, rivers and countryside, Red Square, Metro Stations and so much more! (OVERNIGHT - Izmaylovo Gamma Hotel, Moscow Standard Twin Room only)
