Day 1: St Petersburg

Welcome to St Petersburg. We will transfer you to the hotel.

Day 2: St Petersburg

We will take on a full day guided sightseeing excursion today, taking in Nevsky Prospekt, the musuem and university districts, Church on Spilled Blood, The Bronze Horseman and Peter and Paul Fortress.

Day 3: St Petersburg

Toay you will have a guided excurions to Peter the Great's palatial Peterhof. Immerse yourself in the wonderland of the Peterhof Park and gardens, with shaded glades, colourful flowers, swan filled lakes and elaborate fountains, overlooked by the Grand Palace and surrounding buildings.

Day 4: St Petersburg - Volga River

We will take you to the M/S Surinov and get you checked in.

Day 5: Volga River

We will cruise to Mandrog, a reconstructed village complete with charming old wooden houses and cobblestone walkways. Perhaps buy some traditional handicrafts in the workshop or sample the country’s favourite beverage in the Vodka Museum. Enjoy a picnic lunch ashore.

Day 6: Volga River

Today's included excursion takes you to the open-air museum of wooden architecture on the island of Kizhi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that includes an impressive collection of churches, chapels and houses.

Day 7: Volga River

Day 8: Volga River

From the small settlement of Goritzy, an included excursion visits Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery.

Day 9: Volga River

Enjoy an included tour of Yaroslavl. This was Russia’s second largest city during the 17th century and its historic centre is now a World Heritage Site.

Day 10: Volga River

An included tour reveals the highlights of Uglich and uncovers its chequered past, which is linked to figures like Ivan the Terrible and Boris Godunov.

Day 11: Volga River - Moscow

We will pick you you up from the cruise boat and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 12: Moscow

Today we set off sightseeing in Moscow - our guide will take you on a walking your of Red Square and surrounds plus a visit to the Kremlin as well.

Day 13: Moscow

Free day today.

Day 14: Moscow - Trans Siberian train

We will transfer you to the train station to board the Trans-Siberian train departing at 21:25 bound for Vladivostok

Days 15-19: Trans Siberian train

Settle into life aboard the Trans-Siberian Express as it plies it’s way across the Urals and large tracts of Siberia. The train goes via Irkutsk and along the shores of breathtaking Lake Baikal - the deepest and largest freshwater lake in the world. Lake Baikal was formed in an ancient rift valley, is over 25 million years old and Baikal itself is home to more than 1,700 species of plants and animals, most of which cannot be found anywhere else in the world - impressive stuff!

Day 20: Trans Siberian train

You will arrive into Vladivostok at 06:30 this morning and our arrangements end with your arrival.
