Day 1: Moscow
Welcome to Russia’s famed historical heartland! Airport arrival transfer, hotel check in and overnight. Overnight - Maxima Panorama hotel - Standard hotel.
Day 2: Moscow
Today enjoy a guided tour of Moscow’s most famous sites with your English speaking guide for 6 hours. You travel by Metro - in Red Square see the beautiful St. Basil’s Cathedral, with its wildly colourful turban shaped domes, wander around the historic GUM department store and if open, pay your respects to Lenin at the mausoleum. This afternoon explore the grounds of the mighty Kremlin - Russia’s powerhouse, visit its gold domed cathedrals, Ivan the Great Bell Tower and the Armoury, where you can see incredible jewels and ancient artifacts. Day 3: Moscow - Suzdal
Driving onward to Vladimir, the city which gave way to Moscow as Russia’s capital. Upon arrival we enjoy a city tour where we enjoy a visit to Assumption and St. Dimitris cathedral. This afternoon head to the beautiful, rural Suzdal and enjoy a city tour here before hotel check in. Overnight - Standard accommodation
Day 4: Suzdal - Kostroma
FDSS including: Private car, ES guide This morning we visit the Suzdal Kremlin, and Museum of Wooden Architecture visit. Then we transfer to Kostroma, known as the ‘Cradle of the Romanov dynasty’, as it was home to first Tsar of the Romanov Dynasty. Overnight - Sokol Hotel
Day 5: Kostroma - Yaroslavl
This morning we explore this 12th century town which sits on the banks of the Volga River including a visit to Ipatiev Monastery. Then we drive to Yaroslavl, which was founded by a Kievan prince. Here we enjoy a city tour including the Elijah the Prophet Church and Spasso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral. Overnight - Azimut
Day 6: Yaroslavl - Moscow
Today your sightseeing continues and we drive to Rostov. Here our city tour includes an Enamel Museum and a visit to the Kremlin. Then we continue to pereslavl Zalessky to explore this town before continuing to Sergiev Posad, for a visit to trinity Sergius lavra. After the sightseeing we transfer back to Moscow. Overnight - Yubileinaya
Day 7: Moscow
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your onward departing flight in your private car. Overnight - Standard accommodation
