Our adventurous small group tours, with an average group size of 12, are an ideal way to experience the real South America, its treasures and its people. Our tour leaders will point you in the right direction, whether it is where to shop, eat or witness incredible wildlife and the majority of our carefully planned itineraries utilise local public transport. We stay in a range of locally owned accommodation from simple hotels and guesthouses to campsites, homestays and jungle lodges.
Whether you are travelling for 7 days or 37 days, deciding what to pack for your South America tour isn't overly easy. We recommend stocking up on light trousers, shorts, t-shirts, long sleeved tops and windbreakers so you can be prepared for any climate. Don’t forget comfortable walking shoes either, plus some sandals. You’ll also need swimwear, a sun hat and UV protection. Other essentials include a travel adaptor, a towel, mosquito spray and a torch. Finally, don’t forget all of your camera gear - such as a charger and an extra memory card, so that you can snap happy whilst on holiday.
