Welcome to Brazil's party capital and the start of your adventure with On the Go Tours! Upon your arrival at Rio's international airport you will be met by our local representative and transferred to your hotel for check in. Remainder of the day at leisure.
The next two days are at leisure for you to enjoy and explore Rio independently. Alternatively, opt for a full day excursion (SHARED EXCURSION) to Rio's most famous sights. Take the cable car up Sugarloaf Mountain for incredible views over the city. We'll also visit Corcovado, the famous statue of Christ that looms large over Rio. A BBQ lunch is also included. (£145 per person).
Today we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Iguazu Falls (FLIGHT NOT INCLUDED) where upon your arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check in. The remainder of the day is at leisure or you may wish to include a shared tour to the Brazilian side of the spectacular Iguazu Falls. Straddling the border between Argentina and Brazil, the Iguazu Falls are composed of over 250 separate cascades. Walk along catwalks that allow you to see the torrents of water at their most impressive. (£75 per person). Overnight at the Continental Inn Hotel.
Day at leisure or alternatively opt for a full day excursion (shared service) to the Argentinean side of the falls. A number of walking trails are available bringing you in front of or above the rapids. You’ll also see the dramatic Garganta del Diablo or Devil’s Throat, an awe-inspiring display of natural power. (£65 per person). Overnight at the Continental Inn Hotel.
Today fly to Manuas, situated in Brazil's Amazon (FLIGHT NOT INCLUDED). Transfer to the Amazon Ecopark Jungle Lodge for check in. Over the next four days enjoy nature walks through the jungle, visiting Monkey Forest and a "caboclo's" house. There'll also be fishing opportunities and evening canoe rides listening to the exotic sounds of the jungle as its inhabitants come alive at night. During your time in the Amazon you'll also embark on a full day excursion to the 'Meeting of the Waters', a spectacular merge of Negro and Solimoes Rivers. The waters of the two rivers run together for about 12kms, side by side, without mixing. The phenomenon happens due to differences in temperature, density and speed of the waters of the rivers.
Today marks the end of your adventure with On the Go Tours. After breakfast and hotel check out a shuttle transfer provided by the lodge will take you to the airport in Manuas for your onward departure flight. End of services.
