Day 1: Buenos Aires

Bienviendos a Argentina! Upon arrival into the international airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel where the rest of the day can be spent at leisure.

Days 2-3: Buenos Aires

Enjoy today and tomorrow at your leuisure exploring. We highly recommend you pay a visit to San Telmo, wander the attractive streets of Palermo until you reach Recoleta and the famous cemetery of the same name and La Boca, a colourful suburb popular with local artists. Why not catch a ferry for one day and enjoy a day trip in Uruguay?

Day 4: Buenos Aires - Bariloche

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before transferring to the airport for your flight to Bariloche in the south of Argentina’s Lake District (flight not included). Resting on the slopes of a dramatic massif and facing Nahuel Huapi, Bariloche enjoys an enviable setting. Upon arrival a scheduled transfer will take you to your hotel.

Days 5-6: Bariloche

Over the next two days you are free to independently explore Bariloche and the surrounding lakes. Spend some time getting to know the alpine style town and its quaint chocolate shops or head for the hills and partake in outdoor activities ranging from mountain biking, hiking to horse riding.

Day 7: Bariloche - El Calafate

After breakfast take a scheduled transfer to the airport for your flight to El Calafate (flight not included), the starting point for excursions to one of Argentina’s most famous natural wonders – the Pertio Moreno glacier. On arrival, a scheduled transfer will take you to your hotel. Remainder of day free.

Day 8: El Calafate

Measuring 30km in length, the monstrous Perito Moreno glacier is a jagged mass of crevasses and towering columns of ice. It’s also unusual in the sense that it is actually growing in size and constantly moving forward. Today enjoy a full day included scheduled excursion beginning at Brazo Rico where you will be able to spot floating icebergs and continuing with a nautical safari on Rico Lake for spectacular views of the ice walls.

Day 9: El Calafate - El Chalten

This morning catch the shuttle bus in town to El Chalten. Arriving here, make your way to the hotel. (Today is not arranged by us you can easily do this locally)

Days 10-11: El Chalten

Today and tomorrow are at your leisure to explore the surrounding incredible scenery you will be able to arrange guided hiking with the hotel or travel agents in town.

Day 12: El Chalten - Buenos Aires

This morning make your own way to El Calafate by the public shuttle bus service in time for your flight back to Buenos Aires (flight not included). Arriving in Buenos Aires, meet our driver who will take your to your hotel.

Day 13: Buenos Aires - Iguazu Falls (Argentina)

Early morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Puerto Iguazu (flight not included), your base for exploring the magnificent Iguazu Falls. Straddling the border between Argentina and Brazil, the Iguazu Falls are composed of over 250 separate cascades. Upon arrival a scheduled transfer will take you to your hotel, and then enjoy a scheduled full day excursion to the Argentinean side of the falls. A number of walking trails are available bringing you in front of or above the rapids. You’ll also see the dramatic Garganta del Diablo or Devil’s Throat, an awe-inspiring display of natural power.

Day 14: Iguazu Falls (Argentina) - Rio De Janeiro

This morning join a scheduled tour of the Brazilian side of the falls, walking along catwalks that allow you to see the torrents of water at their most impressive. After, you will be dropped at the BRazil Iguazu Airport for the flight to Rio (flight not included). Arriving into Rio, meet our driver who will bring you to your hotel.

Days 15-16: Rio De Janeiro

Spend today and tomorrow, exploring Rio in your own time. There are trips up Sugar Loaf Mountain by cable car and Corcovado, with its famous Statue of Christ, for great city views. Another interesting journey is on the old tram system across the viaduct into the cobblestone neighbourhood of Santa Teresa. A walking tour of Rio's historic buildings is also a lovely way to pass an afternoon, or you may like to visit the Botanical Gardens or one of the famous beaches, such as Copacabana, Ipanema or Leblon.

Day 17: Rio De Janeiro - Angra dos Reis

This morning you will catch the shuttle arranged by us down the coast to the wonderful coastal resort city of Angra Dos Reis. Arriving here, settle into your hotel and relax.

Days 18-19: Angra dos Reis

Enjoy today and tomorrow relaxing on the beach and taking in the sunshine and backdrop of the Atlantic Rainforest.

Day 20: Angra dos Reis

Sadly your journey has come to an end, we will transfer you back to Rio Airport in time for your flight home.
