Day 1: Rio De Janeiro

Bem Vindo a Rio, Welcome to Rio De Janeiro and the start of your exclusive Latin American journey! Upon arrival into the airport you will be met by our friendly local team and transferred to your hotel downtown. The rest of the day is free for you to get out and explore.

Days 2-3: Rio De Janeiro

The next days are at your leisure to explore. You'll soon find there is plenty to see and do. There are trips up Sugar Loaf Mountain by cable car and Corcovado, with its famous Statue of Christ, for great city views. Another interesting journey is on the old tram system across the viaduct into the cobblestone neighbourhood of Santa Teresa. A walking tour of Rio's historic buildings is also a lovely way to pass an afternoon, or you may like to visit the Botanical Gardens or one of the famous beaches, such as Copacabana, Ipanema or Leblon. If you are in Rio de Janeiro around February/March get ready for the world's biggest party, the Rio Carnival.

Day 7: Rio De Janeiro - Iguazu Falls (Argentina)

Today marks the end of your Brazilian adventure and the start of your Argentinian one!This morning we will transfer you to Rio Airport in time for your flight to Iguazu Falls. Arriving here, our local team are on hand to transfer you to your hotel on the Argentina side.

Day 8: Iguazu Falls (Argentina)

Today we recommend spending half day to full day exploring the Brazilian side of the falls.

Day 9: Iguazu Falls (Argentina)

Spend an entire exploring the Argentina side of the falls.

Day 10: Iguazu Falls (Argentina) - Buenos Aires

Our driver will collect you today and take you onto the airport in time for your flight to Buenos Aires.

Day 11: Buenos Aires

Often labelled the ‘Paris of South America’, Buenos Aires, or simply BA, is a seductive mix of elegant architecture, characterful residents and fantastic entertainment options. Spend the next days with free time to explore this magnificent city.

Day 14: Buenos Aires - Cuzco

At the break of dawn we head off to the airport for your flight to Cuzco (VIA LIMA), known to the Incas as the ‘navel of the world’. At an elevation of 3400m above sea level, it’s important to acclimatise to the altitude so spend some time resting in your hotel before exploring this colourful and historic city later in the afternoon.

Day 15: Cuzco

Today is at your leisure to explore the town.

Day 16: Cuzco - Sacred Valley

Tracing a particularly scenic course from Cuzco all the way to Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley was greatly appreciated by the Incas due to its special geographical and climatic qualities and as such contains numerous archaeological remains and villages. This morning our driver will take you into the valley and your hotel which is near the town of Ollantaytambo.

Day 17: Sacred Valley

Enjoy a day to explore the surrounding area in your own time.

Day 18: Sacred Valley - Aguas Calientes

This morning early we set off to the train station for a stunning train journey to the famous Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. Sit back and enjoy the views as the landscape changes from the Andean highlands to the beginnings of the jungle. Arrive Aguas Calientes and with your guide catch the shuttle up to the entry gate for a full day exploring. After the guided tour you can come back to your Aguas Calientes hotel your guide will leave you with a return shuttle bus ticket.

Day 19: Aguas Calientes - Cuzco

Today consider revisiting the ruins in your own time and expense for the entry ticket. Later, you return by train to Cusco.

Day 20: Cuzco

Sadly your journey has come to an end, we will transfer you to Cuzco Airport in time for your flight home.
