Day 1: Lima

Bienvenidos a Peru! Welcome to Peru and the start of your journey through the land of the Incas. Upon arrival into Lima International Airport you will be met by one of our representatives and transferred to your hotel. After check in spend some time with our rep discussing your upcoming trip. The remainder of the day is free for you to enjoy at leisure.

Day 2: Lima - Cuzco

After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight to Cuzco, known to the Incas as the ‘navel of the world’. After your arrival transfer, enjoy exploring what is considered the archaeological capital of South America, Cuzco is home to some of the finest examples of Inca history and architecture, which you will discover touring the sights of the Plaza de Armas, the Catedral and the Koricancha complex – a supreme example of Inca stonework. Head out further afield to tour the Kenko Amphitheatre, the fortified hunting lodge of Puca Pucara, the stunning imperial baths of Tambo Machay and the megalithic fortress of Sacsayhuaman.

Day 3: Cuzco - Aguas Calientes

A morning transfer to the train station for a stunning Vistadome train journey to the famous Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. Sit back and enjoy the views as the landscape changes from the Andean highlands to the beginnings of the jungle. Arrive Aguas Calientes and you will be driven to your hotel near the entrance of Machu Picchu. Today enjoy a fully guided tour of this breathtaking wonder of the world.

Day 4: Aguas Calientes - Cuzco

Today you return on the Vistadome train to Cuzco. Arriving here, a transfer to your hotel awaits.

Day 5: Cuzco - Puno

Today enjoy another spectacular rail journey (10 HR) to historic Puno. Passing the gentle, rolling Andean Plains where vicuña and alpacas roam freely, the train climbs to 4335m above sea level at La Raya, offering incredible views of the towering, snow-capped Andean mountains. During the journey you will be served a three course lunch in the dining car followed by coffee served in the observation-bar car. Arriving into Puno you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 6: Puno

After breakfast board a yacht from Puno port for a shared cruise and tour around the floating islands of Uros. Your cruise continues to the genuine island of Tequile to gain insight into the Island culture very different from the mainland. After time for lunch and a good wander around we return by boat to Puno.

Day 7: Puno - Buenos Aires

This morning a one hour transfer brings you to Juliaca Airport. From here you will fly to Lima where our local team await to transfer you to the hotel.

Day 8: Buenos Aires

Morning returning to the airport you catch the flight to Buenos Aires in Argentin - Arriving into the Paris of South America our local team await to transfer you to the hotel.

Day 9: Buenos Aires

This morning enjoy a guided city tour taking in the Neoclassical Metropolitan Cathedral, the unusual dusty pink Government House and the history-packed Plaza de Mayo. Head to the neighbourhood of San Telmo where street performers gather to display the sensuous dance of tango, and continue to La Boca, a colourful suburb popular with local artists. Wander the attractive streets of Palermo until you reach Recoleta and the famous cemetery of the same name. The afternoon is at your leisure to explore.

Day 10: Buenos Aires

After breakfast and hotel check out transfer to the airport for your onward departure journey. Adios from Argentina!
