Day 1: Buenos Aires

Welcome to Argentina and the start of your adventure with On the Go Tours! Upon arrival at Buenos Aires airport, you will be met by our representative and escorted to your hotel. Our representative will assist you with check-in procedures and provide you with a detailed itinerary, covering all the services included in your tour and additional information on the organization of your Argentina trip. Remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight at Novotel

Day 2: Buenos Aires

Familiarise yourself with Buenos Aires today on a city tour (shared basis), which includes attractions such as the 9 de Julio Avenue, the Obelisk and Corrientes Street. The first stop will be in the Plaza de Mayo so as to visit the Cathedral and the Cabildo (Old City Hall). After that, the trip will continue towards the most traditional neighborhood of Buenos Aires, San Telmo, which is characterized by its old colonial houses and the cobblestoned streets. Later on, the tour will go to La Boca Neighborhood located in the south of the city and continue to Puerto Madero and Palermo. The final stop is the Recoleta Cemetery. Overnight at Novotel

Day 3: Buenos Aires

Day 4: Buenos Aires - Mendoza

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Mendoza where upon your arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel where the remainder of the day can be spent at leisure. Overnight at Huentala

Day 5: Mendoza

Mendoza is one of the world capitals of the Malbec wine. Your tour today (shared basis) will go around two collards in the heart of the Central Region of Mendoza that comprises Maipu and Lujan de Cuyo. In this area you will find the most traditional cellars in Mendoza and two wine cellars will be visited, one of them is a craft production venture where you will have the chance to observe the traditional work done by local people. The other one is industrialized with its massive infrastructure. You will be able to observe and compare the wine production processes taking place in these commercial undertakings. Day 7: Mendoza - Iguazu Falls (Argentina)

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Puerto Iguazu where upon your arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel with the rest of the day free. Overnight at Amerian Portal del Iguazu

Day 8: Iguazu Falls (Argentina)

Today enjoy an excursion (shared basis) to the Argentinean side of the incredible Iguazu Falls. Straddling the border between Argentina and Brazil, the Iguazu Falls are composed of over 250 separate cascades. A number of walking trails are available bringing you in front of or above the rapids. You’ll also see the dramatic Garganta del Diablo or Devil’s Throat, an awe-inspiring display of natural power. Overnight at Amerian Portal del Iguazu

Day 9: Iguazu Falls (Argentina)

Day 10: Iguazu Falls (Argentina) - Rio De Janeiro

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Rio de Janeiro. Upon your arrival you will be met by our local representative and transferred to your hotel with the remainder of the day free. Overnight at Golden Tulip Continental

Day 11: Rio De Janeiro

Río de Janeiro is famous for its natural environment, its carnival parties, samba, bossa nova and its long line of touristic beaches as Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon. Some of the most famous monuments are the giant statue of Christ, known as the “Cristo Redentor” (redeemer Christ), on the top of the Concorvado's mountain, named one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, the mountain Pan de Azúcar, with its chairlift; the Sambódromo and the stadium of Maracaná, the biggest stadium of football. Río de Janeiro will be hosting the Olympics’ Games in 2016 and it will be the first South American city to organize the event. Day 13: Rio De Janeiro - Cuzco

Saying farewell to Brazil today we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Cuzco in Peru. Upon your arrival in Cuzco our local representative will be there to greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Later this afternoon enjoy a Cuzco city tour visiting Koricancha, or Temple of the Sun; the Incan street of Loreto, where you can admire the famous 12-sided stone; Ahuajpinta street, along which sit the remains of impressive Incan palaces and old colonial buildings such as the Cathedral; and the Museum of Colonial Art. We will then head towards the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuaman and the ruins of Kenqo, Tambomachay (also known as the Incan Baths) and the Tambo de Puca Pukara. Day 14: Cuzco

Today you will tour the Sacred Valley on a full day excursion. On the way towards the Urubamba Valley, we will have the chance to visit Awanacancha where you will learn about the dyeing techniques and instruments used for hundreds of years in the weaving of textiles. Then take a tour of the Pisac archeological complex, formed by a collection of remains of Incan dwellings, temples, and terracing. Next enjoy a walk around the colorful Pisac Market. After lunch, end the day with a visit to the Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, built to protect the entrance of this part the Valley and prevent the possible invasions of tribes from the jungle lowlands. Return to Cuzco. Overnight at Casa Andina

Day 15: Cuzco

This morning transfer to the train station for an amazing train journey to the famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu. Along the way you will enjoy the changing landscape as you travel from Andean highlands to the beginnings of the jungle before arriving at the town of Aguas Calientes. From here board the bus that will take you on a 20 minute ride up to the citadel of Machu Picchu. A guided tour of the Citadel includes the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Dial, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and various burial grounds. Buffet lunch at Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge Hotel. In the afternoon, return to Cuzco by train with a transfer to your hotel. Overnight at Casa Andina

Day 16: Cuzco - Puerto Maldonado and the Amazon

Early this morning board a flight to the remote jungle settlement of Puerto Maldonado - the starting point for a scheduled excursion into the Amazon Jungle. A boat ride along the Madre de Dios River brings you to your jungle lodge where you will spend the next three nights in a beautiful cabaña. A wide variety of excursions are on offer from guided walks through the jungle to twilight river cruises. Sail in small wooden canoes or test your vertigo on a canopy walkway. This evening all available jungle activities will be presented to you. Overnight at Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica

Days 17-18: Puerto Maldonado and the Amazon

Over the next two days you will learn much about the Amazonian wildlife and its most colourful characters with excursions available to the Tambopata National Reserve, Gamitana Creek and the Inkaterra Ecological Reserve. As daylight wanes share your daily experience of life in the rainforest with your fellow guests with the captivating sounds of the jungle your soundtrack. (Please note that all excursions in the Amazon are on SHARED BASIS). Overnight at Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica

Day 19: Puerto Maldonado and the Amazon - Lima

Enjoy a full breakfast before departure. A 45-minute return trip by boat on the Madre de Dios River takes you to Puerto Maldonado, where you may visit Inkaterra Butterfly House. Peru boasts the greatest variety of butterflies in the world, with 3,700 known species. Many of these can be seen at the Butterfly House, a showcase for the variety, beauty and adaptability of these fascinating insects. Transfer to the airport to board your flight to Lima. Upon arrival into Lima International Airport, you will be met by our representative and escorted to your hotel. Overnight at Atton San Isidro

Day 20: Lima

Today marks the end of your incredible adventure with On the Go Tours. After breakfast and hotel check out we will transfer you to the airport in time for your onward departure flight, wishing you a fond farewell.
