Day 1: Cuzco

Welcome to Cuzco, known to the Incas as the ‘navel of the world' this is the start of an epic journey through Latin America! Arriving here our local team awaits to transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2: Cuzco - Aguas Calientes

This morning a scenic train journey followed by a bus ride brings you to the legendary ‘Lost City’ of Machu Picchu. Set on a mountainous peak overlooking a deep canyon on the Urubamba River, the ancient Inca city is indeed one of South America’s most impressive sights. Be amazed by the incredibly well-preserved plazas, towers and temples as you enjoy a guided tour of Machu Picchu.

Day 3: Aguas Calientes - Cuzco

This morning you can opt to revisit the site of Machu Pichu if you like, just pay the entry ticket or perhaps if feeling adventurous climb up the Huayna Picchu! Later we assist you wiith boarding the train back to Cuzco at 17:50 hrs. Pre-dinner cocktails will be served in the bar accompanied by live entertainment, and afterwards a 4-course a la carte dinner will be presented in the dining cars. The train will pull into Poroy station in Cusco at 9:16 PM where you have a private transfer to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 4: Cuzco - Puerto Maldonado and the Amazon

Today we will collect you from your hotel for the short flight into the Amazon rain forest. Arrival into Puerto Maldonado airport and the Inkaterra Lodge team will receive you and take you to there jetty to embark the speed boat transfers up the Madre Dios river to check into your cabin at the lodge.

Days 5-6: Puerto Maldonado and the Amazon

Included in your stay is various activities to keep you occupied in the day and certainly tired by the evening. Activities included are Jungle walks, visit the Tambopata Reserve, Boat trips at night to spot cayman and much more. All with the assistance of a naturalist expert guide. Day 7: Puerto Maldonado and the Amazon - Lima

After breakfast the lodge team will take you by boat back to civilisation and on by car to the airport from the jetty. Fly to Lima, arriving here our local team will transfer you to your hotel.

Day 8: Lima - Mendoza

Today the deep south beckons! We will transfer you to the airport in time for your flights to Mendoza in Argentina. Here, meet our Argentinian team whom will assist wit transfer to your hotel. With striking snow-capped peaks visible on the horizon and an alluring combination of top-class dining and vibrant nightlife, Mendoza is the perfect place to base yourself for trips to the surrounding vineyards.

Day 9: Mendoza

Set out on the Wine Route for a full day tour of Mendoza’s wine cellars. The valleys around Mendoza are primarily farmland producing delicious olives, almonds, cherries, plums and of course, wine. Touring two wine cellars observe how wine is made, from the picking of the grape to the bottling of the final product, with time for a cheeky glass or two!

Day 10: Mendoza

Today you will be transferred to Blanco Encalada, enjoying incredible views of the snow peaks along the way. From here you will be briefed on the ride head and obvious safety instructions, thereafter enjoy a leisurely ride in the mountains. During the ride you will enjoy a regional breakfast and hearty lunch. Returning to Mendoza in the afternoon enjoy some free time to explore.

Day 11: Mendoza - Buenos Aires

After breakfast this morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. Arriving here, our rep will assist you to your hotel. In the evening dress up as you will be collected from your hotel and transferred to Café de Los Angelitos for a night of love, passion, madness and glamour with a traditional tango show. Born in the brothels of the 1920s, Argentine tango is a completely improvised dance and attracts both the old and the young. Includes – Relevant transport, entrance, dinner

Day 12: Buenos Aires

Enjoy a day at leisure. This evening you will enjoy dinner at a great local restaurant.

Day 16: Iguazu Falls (Argentina)

Enjoy a full day excursion to the Argentinian side of the falls. A number of walking trails are available bringing you in front of or above the rapids. You’ll also see the dramatic Garganta del Diablo or Devil’s Throat, an awe-inspiring display of natural power.

Day 17: Iguazu Falls (Argentina)

Today tour the Brazilian side of the falls, walking along catwalks that allow you to see the torrents of water at their most impressive. Later, you fly to Rio De Jeneiro.
