Day 1: Buenos Aires

Welcome to Buenos Aires! You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel where you have the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Buenos Aires

This morning enjoy a half day guided city tour taking in the Neoclassical Metropolitan Cathedral, the unusual dusty pink Government House and the history-packed Plaza de Mayo. The remainder of the day is free for you to relax or explore independently. Head to the neighbourhood of San Telmo where street performers gather to display the sensuous dance of tango, and continue to La Boca, a colourful suburb popular with local artists. Wander the attractive streets of Palermo until you reach Recoleta and the famous cemetery of the same name.

Days 3-4: Buenos Aires

The next two days you have at leisure.

Day 5: Buenos Aires - Santiago

This morning you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Santiago. Upon arriving in Santiago you will be transferred to your hotel where you have the rest of the day at leisure. Framed by snowcapped Andean mountains on its eastern flank and a range of smaller coastal peaks to the west, the city of Santiago enjoys a remarkably scenic setting in Chile's Central Valley. As the cultural and economic heart of the country, it's the best place to get under the skin of Chile's national identity with a thriving arts scene, superb museums, vibrant theatre and music, and first-rate cuisine.

Day 6: Santiago

This morning enjoy a city tour that takes in the Metropolitan Cathedral, the La Moneda Presidential Palace and the Plaza de Armas where artists randomly appear to make theatrical performances. Jump on the metro for a short ride to the magnificent Santa Lucia park and its unique castle. Continue to the Lastarria neighbourhood to marvel at the neoclassical architecture and make the most of the many restaurants, coffee shops and green parks.

Days 7-8: Santiago

Day 9: Santiago - San Pedro de Atacama

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Calama. Upon landing you will be transferred to your hotel where you have the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 10: San Pedro de Atacama

Today you have the day at leisure.

Days 11-12: San Pedro de Atacama

The next few days you have at leisure, you have the day at leisure, you can choose any of the excursion the hotel has to offer.

Day 13: San Pedro de Atacama - Punta Arenas

Today you will be transferred to the Calama Airport where you will stay at an airport hotel before boarding your onward flight to Punta Arenas.

Day 14: Punta Arenas

Upon arriving in Punta Arenas you will be transferred to your hotel where you have the rest of the day at your leisure. Flourishing with immigrant communities during the 19th century, Punta Arenas has some interesting architecture on display including the British-built St James' Church and a collection of grand houses that line the central plaza. One of the city's best attractions is the magnificent cemetery, a poignant memorial to Patagonia's turbulent history. An eclectic mix of statues, mausoleums and headstones, the sprawling necropolis contains many beautifully manicured footpaths making exploring the grounds easy and highly pleasurable.

Day 15: Punta Arenas

Day 16: Punta Arenas

Today you will be transferred from your hotel in Punta Arenas Bus station where you will be board a bus to Puerto Natales. Upon arriving in Puerto Natales you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 17: Punta Arenas - Puerto Natales

Today you will be transferred to Torres del Paine. Decorating much of the tourist literature and postcards on Patagonia are the unusual twisted peaks and unbelievably smooth towers of the Torres del Paine (Towers of Paine). These remarkable granite pillars are perhaps one of the world's most amazing geographical features. Shaped by the forces of glacial ice, these three monolithic towers are the most widely recognised peaks with the summit of Paine Grande and the dark spires of Los Cuernos (The Horns) looming large in the distance.

Days 18-20: Puerto Natales

Day 21: Puerto Natales - El Calafate

This morning you will be transferred to your hotel in Calafate. Since the mid-1980s, the town of El Calafate has grown in popularity to become one of Argentina’s most visited tourist destinations. Nestled on the southern shore of Lago Argentino, the largest of Argentina’s lakes, and surrounded by a striking combination of stark, undulating steppe and snow-capped mountains, the natural attractions around El Calafate are numerous. The changing seasons reveal the different facades of Lago Argentino, from the dark molten lead tones on a cloudy winter’s day to the startling aquamarines when the sky emblazons its light on the water’s surface.

Day 22: El Calafate

Today you will go on an excursion to Perito Moreno Glacier. Measuring 30km in length, the monstrous Perito Moreno glacier is a jagged mass of crevasses and towering columns of ice. It’s also unusual in the sense that it is actually growing in size and constantly moving forward.

Day 23: El Calafate

Day 24: El Calafate - El Chalten

Today you will be transferred to the bus station where you will board a bus to El Chalten. Upon arriving in El Chalten you can proceed to your hotel which is opposite the bus stop. Set in a pretty river valley and backed by the imposing cliff-face of Cerro Pirámide with the daunting peaks of Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre looming in the distance, the pleasant and homely village of El Chaltén is well-visited by trekkers and climbers alike for one very simple reason – its excellent location in the northern sector of the Parque Nacional Los Glaciares.

Day 25: El Chalten

Day 28: El Chalten - Ushuaia

Today you will board a bus to El Calafate from where you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight to Ushuaia. Upon arriving in Ushuaia you will be transferred (shuttle service) to your hotel where you have the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 29: Ushuaia

Day at leisure.

Days 30-50: Ushuaia

Today you will be transferred to the Port after which you have your own arrangements for a Cruise.

Day 51: Ushuaia

Today you will be met at the port and transferred to your hotel, the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 52: Ushuaia - Buenos Aires

Today you will be transferred to the Ushuaia airport for you flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arriving in Buenos Aires you will be transferred to the hotel for one final night.

Day 53: Buenos Aires

Today we bid you farewell and transfer you to the airport for onward flight home.
