Day 1: Santiago

Bienvenidos a Chile! Upon arrival into the international airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel where the rest of the day can be spent at leisure.

Day 2: Santiago

This morning join a scheduled city tour taking in the Metropolitan Cathedral, the La Moneda Presidential Palace and the Plaza de Armas where artists randomly appear to make theatrical performances. Jump on the metro for a short ride to the magnificent Santa Lucia park and its unique castle. Continue to the Lastarria neighbourhood to marvel at the neoclassical architecture and make the most of the many restaurants, coffee shops and green parks. In the afternoon head 35 minutes out of town to the Cousiño Macul Vineyard on a scheduled tour.

Day 3: Santiago

Today we have included for you return private car and driver transfers to and from and in and around the fantastic city of Valparaiso (9AM to 6PM).

Day 4: Santiago - Buenos Aires

Enjoy a morning at leisure to explore the city. Later we transfer to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. Here, meet with our local team who will bring you to your hotel.

Day 5: Buenos Aires

This morning join a scheduled city tour taking in the Neoclassical Metropolitan Cathedral, the unusual dusty pink Government House and the history-packed Plaza de Mayo. Head to the neighbourhood of San Telmo where street performers gather to display the sensuous dance of tango, and continue to La Boca, a colourful suburb popular with local artists. Wander the attractive streets of Palermo until you reach Recoleta and the famous cemetery of the same name. This afternoon is at your leisure to explore.

Day 6: Buenos Aires - Ushuaia

This morning we head off to the airport for the flight to the end of the world, also known as the town of Ushuaia. Arriving here, a transfer brings you to your hotel. Taking National Route 3 as part of a scheduled tour you’ll discover some of Tierra Del Fuegos park’s most stunning natural sights including Pipo River, Ensenada Bay, Redonda Island, Roca Lake, Verde and Negra Lagoons and Castores Dam. Rich in flora and fauna, the park also offers ample variety of wildlife.

Day 7: Ushuaia

Check in to the Stella Australis between 10:00 and 16:00 at 409 San Martín Street. Board the cruise ship at 17:30. After a welcoming cocktail reception hosted by the Captain and his crew, the cruise will depart for one of the remotest parts of the planet. Our voyage will take us through the Strait of Magellan and Beagle Channel to explore one of the most breathtaking wilderness regions in the world: Southern Patagonia, which includes the Tierra del Fuego archipelago. Day 8: Ushuaia

We will be sailing through Murray Channel and Nassau Bay to reach Cape Horn National Park, where, weather permitting, we shall go ashore. The park was declared a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 2005.In the afternoon, we will go ashore at historic Wulaia Bay, originally the site of one of the region’s largest Yamana aboriginal settlements. This area is also renowned for the mesmerizing beauty of its vegetation and geography. We will take an enchanted walk through the Magellan Forest of lengas, coigües, canelos, ferns, and other endemic vegetation, to reach a panoramic viewpoint. (OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE)

Day 9: Ushuaia - Punta Arenas

We will be sailing through Brecknock, Ocasión, Cockburn, and Magdalena Channels to enter the spectacular De Agostini Sound, in the heart of the Darwin Mountain Range. This is where we shall see glaciers sliding down the mountainside all the way to the sea.In the afternoon, in well-equipped Zodiac boats, we will travel to the Águila Glacier where we will embark upon an easy walk to its base. It’s the perfect opportunity to experience the beauty of Patagonia’s cold rainforest and to see how the power of nature has moulded the spectacular landscape. (OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE)

Day 10: Punta Arenas - Torres del Paine

Early in the morning, weather permitting, we will go ashore on Magdalena Island, located in the middle of the Strait of Magellan. The island used to be an essential source of supplies for navigators and explorers and is inhabited by an immense colony of Magellan Penguins that we will be able to see during our walk to the lighthouse. Finally, disembarkation at Punta Arenas is scheduled for 11:30. On arrival at Punta Arenas you will transfer via the hotels shuttle bus to Torres del Paine National Park.

Days 11-12: Torres del Paine

For today and tomorrow you will have ample opportunity to partake in the many activities offered by your hotel (included as part of your stay, refer to hotel website for details)

Day 13: Torres del Paine - El Calafate

Transfer on the hotels shuttle service today through the small but stunning landscape of Cancha Carerra before arriving at your hotel in the charming, picturesque town of El Calafate

Day 14: El Calafate

Measuring 30km in length, the monstrous Perito Moreno glacier is a jagged mass of crevasses and towering columns of ice. It’s also unusual in the sense that it is actually growing in size and constantly moving forward. Today enjoy a full day scheduled excursion beginning at Brazo Rico where you will be able to spot floating icebergs and continuing with a nautical safari on Rico Lake for spectacular views of the ice walls.

Day 15: El Calafate - Buenos Aires

After breakfast and hotel check out take a transfer to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. Arriving here, our driver awaits to transfer you to your hotel.

Day 16: Buenos Aires - Iguazu Falls (Argentina)

After breakfast this morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Puerto Iguazu, your base for exploring the magnificent Iguazu Falls. Straddling the border between Argentina and Brazil, the Iguazu Falls are composed of over 250 separate cascades. Upon arrival a scheduled transfer will take you to your hotel, and later you will join a scheduled tour of the Brazilian side of the falls, walking along catwalks that allow you to see the torrents of water at their most impressive.

Day 17: Iguazu Falls (Argentina)

Today we enjoy a full day excursion to the Argentinean side of the falls. A number of walking trails are available bringing you in front of or above the rapids. You’ll also see the dramatic Garganta del Diablo or Devil’s Throat, an awe-inspiring display of natural power.

Day 18: Iguazu Falls (Argentina) - Rio De Janeiro

This morning we transfer to Iguazu Falls Airport (Brazil) from here catch your flight to Rio - On arrival, our local driver is on hand to transfer you to your hotel in the beach town of Mangaratiba staying at the Portobello Resort Hotel.

Days 19-21: Rio De Janeiro

Spend the next nights at leisure relaxing and enjoying the Sun, Sand and Sea. OVERNIGHTS IN MANGARATIBA AT THE PORTOBELLO RESORT

Day 22: Rio De Janeiro

Sadly your journey has come to an end, we will transfer you to Rio Airport in time for your flight home.
