Day 1: Iguazu Falls (Brazil)

Welcome to your exclusive journey through Brazil with Round The World Experts! Upon arrival into Foz do Iguacu (IGU) airport you will be met by our friendly local team and transferred to your hotel. Straddling the border between Argentina and Brazil, the spectacular Iguazú Falls are one of the most popular natural tourist attractions in South America. This afternoon you will tour the Brazilian side of the falls, walking along catwalks that allow you to see the torrents of water at their most impressive.

Day 2: Iguazu Falls (Brazil)

Enjoy a full day excursion to the Argentinean side of the falls. A number of walking trails are available bringing you in front of or above the rapids. You'll also see the dramatic Garganta del Diablo or Devil’s Throat, an awe-inspiring display of natural power. This U-shaped waterfall is a powerful display of natural forces as 1800 cubic metres of water plunge over the 3km semicircle of rock every second.

Day 3: Iguazu Falls (Brazil) - Curitiba

This morning our driver takes you to IGU airport for your flight to Curitiba (FLIGHT NOT INCLUDED) where our rep will be waiting to welcome you and transfer you to your hotel on arrival. The rest of the day is at leisure so why not head out and explore the city. Curitiba is one of the most sustainable cities in the world and is fast becoming one of the country's most desirable places to live. You can take a walk down to one of the parks and see the city's answer to noisy, polluting and expensive lawnmowers - a herd of hungry sheep!

Day 4: Curitiba

This morning we take you to board the Mountain Range Train for a scenic journey through the largest preserved area of Brazil’s Atlantic forest. Arriving at the historic city of Morretes enjoy a guided tour on a shared service basis with fellow explorers. With charming colonial architecture and a pleasant climate, Morretes is growing increasingly popular with tourists. Enjoy lunch before taking the train back to Curitiba where a return transfer to your hotel awaits.

Day 5: Curitiba - Sao Paulo

Today you will be transferred to the bus station for your journey to Sao Paulo, “the city that never stops”. On arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Remainder of day is at your leisure so why not independently explore one of the world’s biggest metropolises.

Day 6: Sao Paulo

Enjoy a free day to explore. The sheer size of Sao Paulo is simply mind blowing - being the world's third largest city you'll be hard pushed to not find something to do. Why not head to the Banespa Skyscraper for incredible views of the city, check out Sao Paulo’s fantastic collection of museums or go on a culinary journey through the streets as you'll see restaurants from all over the world in abundance.

Day 7: Sao Paulo - Rio De Janeiro

Today you’ll be taken by our local driver to the bus station for your journey to the party capital of the world - Rio de Janeiro! Upon arriving to lively Rio de Janeiro we will assist you to the hotel. You'll soon find there is plenty to see and do in this incredible city.

Day 8: Rio De Janeiro

Enjoy the day at leisure to explore. There are trips up Sugar Loaf Mountain by cable car and Corcovado, with its famous Statue of Christ, for great city views. Another interesting journey is on the old tram system across the viaduct into the cobblestone neighbourhood of Santa Teresa. A walking tour of Rio's historic buildings is also a lovely way to pass an afternoon, or you may like to visit the Botanical Gardens or one of the famous beaches, such as Copacabana, Ipanema or Leblon.

Day 9: Rio De Janeiro
