Day 1: Rio De Janeiro

Bem Vindo a Brasil and the start of your journey through Southern Latin America! Arriving into Rio Airport, meet our local team who await to drive you onto your hotel.

Day 2: Rio De Janeiro

For today and tomorrow in your free time, you'll find there is plenty to see and do. There are trips up Sugar Loaf Mountain by cable car and Corcovado, with its famous Statue of Christ, for great city views. Another interesting journey is on the old tram system across the viaduct into the cobblestone neighbourhood of Santa Teresa. A walking tour of Rio's historic buildings is also a lovely way to pass an afternoon, or you may like to visit the Botanical Gardens or one of the famous beaches, such as Copacabana, Ipanema or Leblon.

Day 5: Rio De Janeiro - Sao Paulo

This morning you will be transferred to the bus station for your journey to Sao Paulo, “the city that never stops”. On arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.

Days 6-7: Sao Paulo

The sheer size of Sao Paulo is simply mind blowing, being the world's 3rd largest city you'll be hard pushed to not find something to do for today and tomorrow. Why not head to the Banespa Skyscraper for incredible views of the city, check out Sao Paulo’s fantastic collection of museums or go on a culinary journey through the streets as you'll see restaurants from all over the world in abundance. Even though Sao Paulo is Brazil's most modern city there are still lots of traditional things to experience, from street capoeira, to the delicious churrascaria restaurants that serve some of the most mouth-watering meats from the skewer - a dining experience not to be missed!

Day 8: Sao Paulo - Iguazu Falls (Argentina)

After breakfast this morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Iguazu, your base for exploring the magnificent Iguazu Falls (FLIGHT NOT INCLUDED). Straddling the border between Argentina and Brazil, the Iguazu Falls are composed of over 250 separate cascades. Upon arrival a scheduled transfer will take you to your hotel Bienviendos a Argentina!, and later you will join a scheduled tour of the Brazilian side of the falls, walking along catwalks that allow you to see the torrents of water at their most impressive.

Day 9: Iguazu Falls (Argentina)

Enjoy a scheduled full day excursion to the Argentinean side of the falls. A number of walking trails are available bringing you in front of or above the rapids. You’ll also see the dramatic Garganta del Diablo or Devil’s Throat, an awe-inspiring display of natural power.

Day 10: Iguazu Falls (Argentina) - Buenos Aires

This morning we transfer you to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires (FLIGHT NOT INCLUDED). Upon arrival into the international airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel where the rest of the day can be spent at leisure.

Day 11: Buenos Aires

This morning join a scheduled city tour taking in the Neoclassical Metropolitan Cathedral, the unusual dusty pink Government House and the history-packed Plaza de Mayo. Head to the neighbourhood of San Telmo where street performers gather to display the sensuous dance of tango, and continue to La Boca, a colourful suburb popular with local artists. Wander the attractive streets of Palermo until you reach Recoleta and the famous cemetery of the same name. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to explore Buenos Aires your way – why not wander further in search of the city’s striking street art?

Day 12: Buenos Aires

Enjoy the day at leisure exploring the city.

Day 13: Buenos Aires - El Calafate

After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight to El Calafate, the starting point for excursions to one of Argentina’s most famous natural wonders – the Pertio Moreno glacier (FLIGHT NOT INCLUDED). On arrival, scheduled transfer to your hotel. Remainder of day free.

Day 14: El Calafate

Measuring 30km in length, the monstrous Perito Moreno glacier is a jagged mass of crevasses and towering columns of ice. It’s also unusual in the sense that it is actually growing in size and constantly moving forward. Today enjoy a full day scheduled excursion beginning at Brazo Rico where you will be able to spot floating icebergs and continuing with a nautical safari on Rico Lake for spectacular views of the ice walls.

Day 15: El Calafate

Today offers a chance for you to continue exploring the southern sector of Parque Nacional los Glaciares independently or enjoy some downtime at Lago Argentino. Other options include a full day tour to the Bosque Pertificado La Leona, a petrified forest with fossilised trunks and dinosaur bones

Day 16: El Calafate - Ushuaia

This morning a scheduled transfer will take you to the airport for your flight to Ushuaia, the world’s southernmost city and a particularly scenic one too, backed by dramatic, serrated peaks and fronted by the sea (FLIGHT NOT INCLUDED). Upon arrival a scheduled transfer will take you to your hotel. Remainder of day at leisure.

Day 17: Ushuaia

Taking National Route 3 as part of a scheduled tour you’ll discover some of the Tierra Del Fuegos most stunning natural sights including Pipo River, Ensenada Bay, Redonda Island, Roca Lake, Verde and Negra Lagoons and Castores Dam. Rich in flora and fauna, the park also offers ample variety of wildlife. Later in the afternoon board a ship in Ushuaia Bay for a scheduled cruise on the Beagle Channel. The cruise will reveal excellent views of Ushuaia as well as Olivia Mount and the Encajonado River. You’ll also see Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse and pass Pajaros Island where sun-seeking penguins and fur seals come to rest on the pebbly shores.

Days 18-19: Ushuaia

Enjoy a today and tomorrow at leisure in Ushuaia perhaps visiting the city’s charming museums, such as the Maritime Museum and the Museum at the End of the World where Ushuaia’s interesting natural and colonial history is uncovered. Alternatively jump onboard a steam train on the Tren del Fin del Mundo and get your passport stamped with an official End of the World stamp at the Ushuaia tourist office.

Day 20: Ushuaia

This morning we transfer to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires (FLIGHT NOT INCLUDED). Arriving here, you can connect to your flight home.
