Day 1: Seoul

Welcome to Seoul and the start of your South Korean sojourn. Arriving into Seoul Airport, meet with our local driver who awaits to transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2: Seoul

(COACH TOUR) Join fellow tourists today on an exciting excursion to the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) today, which is located 45km north of Seoul and acts as the buffer zone and border between the two nations of North and South Korea. Our coach tour provides a fascinating insight into the events that resulted in Korea’s division and also includes a visit to Imjingak Park, the 3rd North Korean Infiltration Tunnel, Dora Observatory situated on Mount Dora and visit Dorasan Station, once used for freight trains to travel between the South and the North.

Day 3: Seoul - Gyeongju

(COACH TOUR) Join fellow tourists today on a morning and afternoon tour of the city. The morning covers Cheonggye Plaza – Cheong Wa Dae (Blue House) pass by – Gyeongbok Palace & National Folk Museum (Deoksu Palace on Tue.)– Jogyesa Temple – Amethyst Shop. In the afternoon expore, Changdeok Palace & Rear Garden) -Jongmyo Royal Shrine (Namdaemun Market on Tue.) – Insadong : Antique Street of Tradition & Culture. Upon conclusion this evening we will take you to train station to catch the high speed train to Gyeongju. Arriving here, a driver will take you to your hotel.

Day 4: Gyeongju - Busan

Morning tour of Gyeongju takes you to Tumuli Park where you visit some of the more than 20 large and small tombs from the Silla period including that of King Michu, the 13th King of the dynasty famed for fending off invaders. Legends even tell of soldiers with bamboo leaves stuffed in their ears arising from his tomb to fend off invaders after his death, explaining why his tomb is known as the “Bamboo Soldier Tomb”. This afternoon visit the UNESCO listed temple of Bulguska and Seokguram Grotto, one of Asia’s finest Buddhist shrines, dramatically located on the slopes of Toham Mountain. Arrive Busan in the late evening.

Day 5: Busan

In the morning we travel to Busan Tower located in Yongdusan Park which offers spectacular views of the old port city. Time permitting we explore the Jagalchi Fish Market then head to the train station and assist you catching the high speed train to Seoul that takes around 2.5 hours. Arriving into Seoul, meet our driver who will take you to the airport for your afternoon/evening flight home.
