Day 1: Welcome to Kuching
Welcome to Kuching. We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel Overnight - Kuching
Day 2: City tour & cooking class
Kuching. We start the day with a tour of the city, taking in the main attractions such as Chinatown, the City Tower for a bird's eye view of the city, the Malay Stilt Houses, Main Bazaar, India Street and Kuching Waterfront. For Lunch, we enjoy a cooking class with local chef. Breakfast and Overnight Kuching Overnight - Kuching (B)
Day 3: Bako National Park
Kuching – Bako National Park. Just 38kms by road and then speedboat, from Kuching is Bako National Park. Although the smallest national park in Sarawak it is also the oldest and has an amazing array of diverse tropical vegetation and wildlife. Though the park accommodation is very simple, with shared facilities, staying within the park allows you the chance to fully experience the beauty of the area where mangroves fringe the coasts and rocky headlands are interspersed with clean beaches.
After registration follow the Park Guide to explore some of the interesting forest trails to search for wildlife particularly the Long-nosed Proboscis Monkeys and to study some of the exotic plants and insects. Lunch, Dinner and Overnight Bako National Park.

Day 4: Jungle Walks
Bako – Kuching. Start the day with a walk through jungle trails, a swim, and a wander along pristine and deserted beaches, or go in search of rare Proboscis monkeys on one of the 16 marked walking trails, available within the park before returning to Kuching this afternoon. Overnight - Kuching (B, L, D)
Day 5: Semenggoh Orangutans
Kuching– Batang Ai. Starting with a visit to Semenggoh Orangutan Centre we walk through the jungle for approximately 200m to the feeding platform, to witness the orangutans swaying from the treetop canopy as they come down for feeding. We then proceed 4 hours by bus and then boat to the Batang Ai Resort; you will spend the next 2 nights adjacent to Batang Ai Lake amidst the rainforest. En-route we pass through scenic greenery of rainforest and fields of pepper and rubber. We will stop at Serian town to visit an excellent farmers market. Proceed to Lachau town for lunch at a local Chinese restaurant. Overnight - Batang Ai (B, L, D)
Day 6: Batang Ai
After breakfast, we embark on a native longboat for a day of exploring the Ulu Ai River and its Iban longhouse communities where we take part in the welcoming ceremony of warrior dance, music and gongs by the local folks. Try your hands on the blow pipe, taste local brew rice wine 'Tuak'. Returning to our hotel after lunch. Lunch

Day 7: Santubong Peninsular
Batang Ai - Santubong Peninsula. After breakfast, transfer by boat to Batang Ai terminal for our return journey to Kuching. Lunch will be provided en-route at a local restaurant. Arrive Kuching in the late afternoon. Overnight - Santubong Peninsula (B, L)
Days 8 - 9: Relaxing Time
After 7 days exploring Sarawak, it’s time to ‘chill’ in the ultimate hideaway and the perfect place to unwind. Spend the next 2 days at leisure however, if you still crave activity there’s still plenty to choose from and Pantal Puteri beach is located only 100m from your doorstep. Day 10: Homeward Bound
After breakfast and your onward airport transfer tour arrangements come to a close. (B)
