Day 1: Yangon

Welcome to Burma and the start of your holiday. Upon arrival you will be met by our local representatives and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight Yangon.

Day 2: Yangon

Your sightseeing today begins by visiting Chaukhtatkyi Pagoda. Here you will find the fourth largest colossal reclining Buddha. There is a photo stop at the heart of Yangon such as Sule Pagoda, Maha Bandoola Park with the Independence Monument, City Hall, High Court and many colonial style buildings. This afternoon, visit Botahtaung Pagoda, a famous landmark on Yangon’s waterfront where one can see Buddha's hair relic. Nanthida Jetty to witness the daily life of the local people and Yangon's River that offers a remarkable atmosphere, then stroll around the evening market at China town. In the evening, visit the magnificent Shwedagon pagoda, a landmark of Myanmar. Overnight at Yangon.

Day 3: Yangon - Mandalay

A morning flight to Mandalay. You will treated to a full day sightseeing in Mandalay with the ancient city of Amarapura, where you will visit Mahagandayon Monastery. Continue to nearby U-Bein Bridge, over a kilometer long and made entirely of teak. In the afternoon, visit a gold leaf making workshop, Mahamuni pagoda; home to Mandalay's holiest Buddha statue. Then, visit Shwenandaw Monastery, an ancient wooden building with intricate carvings. Continue to see "world's largest book", the Buddhist Scriptures inscribed on marble, at Kuthodaw pagoda. Visit Kyaukdawgyi pagoda at see a large Buddha statue carved out of a single block of marble. Enjoy spectacular views at sunset from Mandalay Hill. Overnight at Mandalay.

Day 4: Mandalay

This morning drive to Innwa (Ava), a historical capital founded by King Thado Minbya in 1364. Take a native horse carriage to Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery which is a fine example of Myanmar masonry art and architecture, Mainu Brick Monastery and old watch tower. The tour continues to picturesque Sagaing Hills, 21 km south-east of Mandalay and west bank of Ayeyarwaddy River and visit the village of Ywataung to see the traditional silver workshop, Khaung Mu Daw pagoda, Sagaing Hills to visit monasteries & Soon U Ponya Shin pagoda etc. Overnight at Mandalay.

Day 5: Mandalay - Bagan

Enjoy a morning free at leisure. In the late afternoon, transfer to airport for flight to Bagan. Upon arrival you will be met by our local representatives ans transferred to your hotel. Today we will enjoy the new year gala dinner at the hotel. Overnight at Bagan. (note : Morning flight for this sector are hard to book. Most flights are evening flights)

Day 6: Bagan

A full day of sightseeing of Bagan. Visit Kyansitta "Cave" temple and see the frescoes adorning the corridors. Continue to Gubyaukgyi, to see frescoes of "jataka tales". Next stop is Htilominlo, the last Bamar style temple built in Bagan. Pass through Tharaba Gateway into Old Bagan. This afternoon, visit Ananda temple, a whitewashed architectural masterpiece with four standing Buddhas. Next, visit Dhamayangyi, a massive-looking temple which is famous for its interlocking mortarless brickwork. Continue to Mingalarzedi, the last of the large pagodas, representing the pinnacle of Bamar pagoda architecture. Then, visit local lacquer workshop to watch craftsmen skillfully making thier handicrafts. Overnight at Bagan

Day 7: Bagan

After an early breakfast, enjoy an excursion to Popa which rises 1518 meter from the flat surroundings. It is a core of an extinct volcano and believed to be the abode of the legendary “Nats” or the spirit Gods. On the way back to Bagan, en route stop at Toddy filed to observe how to make Jaggery, Toddy Juice and Peanut Oil. Overnight at Bagan.

Day 8: Bagan - Inle Lake

Another morning flight to Heho airport for Inle Lake. Upon arrival, you will be met by our local representatives and take a scenic route to Nyaung Shwe Jetty by traveling the uphill and winding road over the Shan Plateau. After hotel check in, enjoy a boat ride on Inle Lake for the whole day. Your sightseeing will start with a visit to enjoy the leg-rowers which are the most famous attraction in the region, floating gardens, Phaungdawoo Pagoda, Ngaphaechaung Monastery (Jumping Cats'), blacksmith, silk and cotton weaving factories, silver smith, cheroot Industry and boat making factory etc. Overnight at Inle.

Day 9: Inle Lake - Yangon

After having breakfast, today we will visit Indein Pagoda and village, located at the western side of the lake. Passing Nyaung Ohak Monastery and follow a stair path lined up with many hundreds of wooden columns, you finally will reach the impressive Shwe Indein Pa-O complex. From the hillside you have great view over the lake area. On the way back to the boat, walk through a romantic bamboo forest at the riverside, where you may observe local people having a bath. On the way you can visit Myaynigone village and Lotus fiber weaving factory (Ann's). Then fly back to Yangon. Overnight at Yangon.

Day 10: Yangon

Morning transfer to Yangon airport for international for your departure flight.
