Day 1: Mandalay

Welcome to Mandalay upon arrival you will met by our local representative and transferred to your hotel. Later visit the Mayanchan jetty to take the day return private chartered boat trip to Mingun. Here you will visit Mingun Pagoda: the biggest brick pile or the biggest unfinished pagoda, Mingun bell: the biggest ringing bell in the world and outstanding shape Mya Thein Tan pagoda: The Taj Mahal of Myanmar. Then return by boat to Mandalay. A boat trip to Mingun is pleasant with plenty of life on the river to see and you will be enjoy the most memorable sunset scene by strolling along Ayarwaddy (Irrawaddy) rive bank. Overnight Mandalay.

Day 2: Mandalay

After breakfast visit the ancient city of Amarapura (City of Immortality). Here visit Mahagandaryone monastery. At around 10:30 daily about 700 monks queue up for their last meal of the day. Enjoy the serenity of U Bein wooden Bridge, about three quarters of a mile long with 1086 posts and Taung- ta-man lake will give you an enchanting experience, after visit Mahar Myat Muni Buddha Image the oldest Buddha image castled in bronze in Myanmar, continue to the handicraft workshops such as bronze sculpture, gold leaf beating and marble stone carving. In the evening transfer to the airport for flight to Bagan. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight Bagan. (today is the First day of the Water Festival)

Day 3: Mandalay - Bagan

After an early breakfast, drive about 6 hours to Bagan. On the way, we will see the ways of life of the local and the country. En route, visit Mt. Popa which rises 1518 meters from the flat surroundings. It is a core of an extinct volcano and believed to be home to the 'nats', ancient Burmese animist spirits. Climb to the top for stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Mount Popa is famous for “Oasis of dry zone”. Then proceed to Bagan. On the way to Bagan, visit Toddy filed to observe how to make Jaggery, Toddy Juice and Peanut Oil. We will arrive in the evening to Bagan. Overnight Bagan.(note: your guide from Mandalay will accompany with you for your convenience.)

Day 4: Bagan

This morning, visit Nyaung U local market, the golden pagoda of Shwezigon pagoda, which is Bagan's most important reliquary shrine. See the frescoes adorning the corridors of Kyansitta "Cave" temple. Continue to Gubyaukgyi, another "cave" temple with fine frescoes of "jataka tales". Next stop is Htilominlo, the last Bamar style temple. Pass through Tharaba Gateway into Old Bagan, to visit Manuha Temple with a gigantic Buddha image, Nanpaya, an Early-style temple with the finest stone carvings. Make a photo stop at the tallest temple Thatbuinnyu (Temple of omniscience). Visit Dhamayangyi, a temple famous for its interlocking mortar less brickwork. Later transfer to the airport for flight back to Mandalay. Overnight Mandalay.

Day 5: Bagan - Mandalay

After another early breakfast at the hotel, return to Mandalay. Arriving in the evening you will check into your hotel. Overnight Mandalay. (today is the last day of Myanmar Water Festival.)

Day 6: Mandalay

Happy New Year from Myanmar. Today you will be transferred to the airport in time for your departure flight.
