Day 1: Saigon

Welcome to sizzling Saigon. Arriving at the airport our local team are on hand to transfer you to your hotel. Spend the afternoon getting acquainted with the city.

Day 2: Saigon

Today we head out to explore sizzling Saigon. Starting off with the Reunification Palace - former residence of the President of South Vietnam. We’ll take a look in the famous ‘War Room’ where the North Vietnamese army took control in 1975. Next we explore Giac Lam Pagoda, Saigon’s oldest and one of it’s most beautiful temples. Later on we take a journey through Vietnam’s medical history at the FITO Museum. This is Vietnam’s first traditional medicine museum with an amazing collection of over 3000 items. Our last stop of the day is Ben Thanh Market, where you can shop till you drop and master the art of haggling for just about anything!

Day 3: Saigon

This morning heading out of the city, we visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, a sprawling underground network of tunnels and living quarters used by the Viet Cong during the war. Afterwards return to Saigon and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 4: Saigon

Today is at your leisure to explore the city at your own pace.

Day 5: Saigon - Nha Trang

This morning our local team will take you to the station and assist with embarking the train to Nha Trang, sit back and enjoy the journey. Arriving at the other end meet up with our local driver who waits to take you to your hotel.

Days 6-7: Nha Trang

Spend the next two days at leisure in Nha Trang. The resort is ideal for scuba diving, snorkelling or simply relaxing on the sandy beach. Sample some of the delicious seafood in some of the many restaurants and perhaps enjoy a spot of retail therapy at Cho Dam Market.

Day 8: Nha Trang - Hoi An

Take the mid-day flight to Da Nang then we transfer to Hoi An. The charming, old-world trading port of Hoi An with it cobbled streets, traditional homes and tiny shop houses is a perfect place to lose yourself in a by gone era. Boutique restaurants, hip cafes along the waterfront, delightful craft shops and artisans including some of Asia’s best bespoke tailors (whose services come at a nominal price), all can be found here. This afternoon take a short walking tour of the enchanting historical town, we’ll visit the Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Hall, 200-year-old Tam Ky house, former merchants’ homes and the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge. Day 9: Hoi An

Today enjoy it at your leisure. Overnight Hoi An.

Day 10: Hoi An

Today a bicycle ride into the countryside, leads us to Tra Que village. Here,we discover age old farming practises and learn about traditional medicine. It’s a hands on experience today where we'll assist with tending the fields and gardens and cooking lunch.

Day 11: Hoi An

Day 12: Hoi An - Hue

Today we take the scenic Hai Van Pass (Road of the Ocean Clouds), which offers magnificent views of beaches to one side and lush hills to the other. Arriving into Hue in the later afternoon. We visit the Imperial Citadel and Forbidden City, created in the 19th century for the Emperors under Nguyen Dynasty. We then drive outskirts of Hue to the impressive tomb of King Khai Dinh. Our last stop today is the Dong Ba Market.

Day 13: Hue - Danang

This morning we take a boat ride along the romantic Perfume River. We stop at Thien Mu Pagoda to see the 7-storey octagonal tower and an old Austin car which transported the bonze Thich Quang to Saigon in 1963 for his self-immolation. Continue tour by boat to Minh Mang Tomb built between 1841 and 1843. The Emperor’s tomb complex consists of 40 constructions (palaces, temples, pavilions etc) designed on a symmetric axis. In the afternoon, we drive to Da Nang. Check-in hotel and free by the beach. Overnight in Da Nang

Day 14: Danang

Sadly your journey has reached its conclusion, we will transfer you to the airport in Hue, in time for your flight home.
