Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, welcome and meet with local guide. Then transfer to hotel for check in. The rest of the day will take a rest for your long flight. Overnight Inya Lake Hotel or similar.
Morning transfer to airport for flight to Nyaung Oo for Bagan. Visit Nyaung Oo colourful Market, Shwezigon Pagoda a prototype of later Myanmar stupa. Then to Wetkyi-in Gubyaukkyi Temple with fine mural paintings of Jataka scenes. In the afternoon: lacquerware making, Manuha Temple; Nanpaya, Ananda Temple, and Shwesandaw Pagoda for the beautiful sunset. Overnight Ayeindamar Hotel or similar.
After breakfast, a drive down to Salay and a short stop on the way to study Toddy farmer's life: collecting toddy wine, making molasses, and making hand made oil. Your Salay visit will include Yoke-son Monastery. Then a short walk through the ruined old monastery to Laquerware Buddha Image and the ancient monastery. Then tour continue to Mount Popa (coach), an extinct volcano, which is the abode of Nats (Spirits). On top of the mountain, there are monasteries, pagodas and shrines in different style. Return by car to Bagan. Overnight Ayeindamar Hotel or similar.
Transfer to airport for flight to Mandalay. On arrival Tada-Oo you will visit Amarapura the City of Immortality. Visit Mahagandaryone monastery the largest teaching monastery in Myanmar. Then enjoy the great serenity of U Bein wooden Bridge which is about three quarters of a mile and Taung- ta-man lake that will give you an enchanting experience, Mahar Myat Muni Buddha Image is the most ancient Buddha image castled in bronze in Myanmar and head your way to the handicraft workshops, gold leaf beating and marble stone carving. Then continue your tour by visiting Sagaing. Overnight Rupar Mandalar Hotel or similar.
Morning transfer to airport for flight to Heho. Then drive about one hour to the small quiet town Pindaya enjoying the great scenic beauty of the countryside along the road to Pindaya. Visit Pindaya Caves, well known for its Buddha statues carved out of limestone. Then a short stop at over 250 years old Banyan trees. Mulberry papermaking factory, Bamboo hat making factory.
Today tour excursion on the lake: leg-rowers are the most famous attraction in the region, floating gardens, Phaungdawoo Pagoda, Ngaphaechaung Monastery (Jumping Cats'), blacksmith, silk and cotton weaving factories, silver smith, cheroot Industry and boat making factory etc,
Morning visit Indein village, located at the western side of the lake. Passing Nyaung Ohak Monastery and follow a stair path lined up with many hundreds of wooden columns, you finally will reach the impressive Shwe Indein Pa-O complex. From the hillside you have great view over the lake area. On the way back to the boat, walk through a romantic bamboo forest at the riverside, where you may observe local people having a bath. on the way you can visit Myaynigone village and Lotus fiber weaving factory. Then transfer to Heho airport for return flight to Yangon. Evening visit to the magnificent Shwedagon pagoda, landmark of Myanmar and one of the greatest wonders of the world. Morning visit at the heart of Yangon such as City Hall, High Court and many colonial style buildings, Botahtaung Pagoda, a famous landmark on Yangon's waterfront, shopping in Bogyoke Market- a shopping market with more than 2000 shops selling the beautiful exotic “Shan Bag” velvet slippers, lacquer ware and all sorts of handicraft. Visit Kabar Aye Pagoda, which is significant for its Sixth Synod which was held in its large compound in 1954, Mahapasana Cave, located in the same compound if time permitted.
