Day 1: Yangon

Welcome to Burma! Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, welcome and meet with local guide and transfer to the hotel. Overnight Kandawgyi Palace Hotel (Yangon).

Day 2: Yangon

Today we travel approx. 50 minutes to Hle Gu which it’s 43 km from Yangon. On the way, we visit Htauk Kyant war memorial cemetery compound in which 27000 stone graves of common wealth and allied forces fallen solders in the Myanmar campaign were honorably kept. Then continue to Hleku to observe paddy fields, rice mill and paddy plantation. Then back to Yangon and Naga Cave monastic school, where you can learn the Myanmar monastic education system. Evening visit to the magnificent Shwedagon pagoda, landmark of Myanmar and one of the greatest wonders of the world. Overnight Kandawgyi Palace Hotel (Yangon).

Day 3: Yangon

Our Yangon city tour includes: Chaukhtatkyi Pagoda, houses the fourth largest colossal reclining Buddha, Kabar Aye Pagoda, which is significant for its Sixth Synod which was held in its large compound in 1954, Mahapasana Cave, located in the same compound and then photo stop at the heart of Yangon such as Sule Pagoda, Maha Bandoola Park with Independence Monument, City Hall, High Court and many colonial style buildings. In the afternoon, visit Botataung Pagoda, a famous landmark on Yangon's waterfront; Nanthida jetty to witness the daily life of the local people and Yangon's River that offers a remarkable atmosphere with spectacular colors and photo opportunities and China town market selling fresh fruits, flowers and local delicacies. Day 4: Yangon - Bagan

Today we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Bagan. Highlights for this morning Nyaung Oo Colorful market, the stunning Shwezigone pagoda, a prototype for later Myanmar pagodas; Wetkyi-in Gubyaukkyi Temple with fine mural pain-tings of Jataka scenes Ananda temple, Kyansittha Umin and Gubyaukgyi temple. Afternoon, bring you to a lacquer ware industry and see how to produce a quality lacquer ware. Continue your tour by visiting Bagan’s most massive shrine, Damayangyi temple extending approximately 255 feet on each of its four sides and Thatbyinnyut pagoda, the tallest in Bagan at almost 200ft. End your tour at the terrace of the Shwesandaw pagoda, it was a great spot to view the sunset of Bagan.

Day 5: Bagan

Today we journey down to Salay and a short stop on the way will be made to study Toddy farmer's life like collecting toddy wine, making molasses, and making hand made oil. Your Salay visit will include Yoke-son Monastery decorated with wood-carvings depicting scenes for moral lessons. Then a short walk through the ruined old monastery to Laquerware Buddha Image and the ancient monastery. Then tour continue to Mount Popa (by coach), an extinct volcano, which is the abode of Nats (Spirits). On top of the mountain, there are monasteries, pagodas and shrines in different style. Return by car to Bagan.

Day 6: Bagan - Mandalay

This morning we will transfer you to the airport for flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival, welcomed again by local English speaking stationed guide then direct visit to Sagaing, Ywahtaung village, Kaungmudaw Pagoda, and Sagaing Hill, a retreat for Buddhist devotees with numerous pagodas and monasteries. Proceed to Inwa and sightseeing by a native horse carriage to Bargayar Monastery, Maha Aungmyae Bonzan, Nanmyint Tower, and Yadanarsimi Pagoda. And then return to Mandalay. Visit an ancient of Amarapura, silk weaving industry and enjoy the beautiful sunset at 1.2 km-long U Bein Wooden Bridge.

Day 7: Mandalay

After breakfast, morning transfer to Mayanchan jetty to take the day return private chartered boat trip to Mingun. Worth visit pleases at Mingun are Mingun Pagoda, Mingun bell, The Taj Mahal of Myanmar. A boat trip to Mingun is pleasant with plenty of life on the river to see and you will be enjoy the most memorable sunset scene by strolling along Ayarwaddy river bank. Then visit Mya Nan San Kyaw Palace. This golden palace represents Myanmar Sovereignty and independence and can arouse national patriotic spirit among Myanmar people, Shwenandaw Monastery and Kuthodaw Pagoda. Finish the tour by visiting Mandalay Hill, the natural watch-tower for the visitors to watch sunrise or sunset over the city plains.

Day 8: Mandalay - Inle Lake

Morning transfer to airport for flight to Heho. Upon arrival, welcomed again by local English speaking stationed guide then drive about one hour to the small quiet town Pindaya enjoying the great scenic beauty of the countryside along the road to Pindaya. Visit Pindaya Caves, well known for its Buddha statues carved out of limestone. Then a short stop at over 250 years old Banyan trees. Mulberry papermaking factory, Bamboo hat making factory. Thereafter, drive to Nyaung Shwe then transfer to hotel by boat for hotel check in. Overnight Lake View Resort & Spa (Inle).

Day 9: Inle Lake

Today visit very famous of colorful Mine Thauk 5 market day. You will see hill tribes trading their farm products of vegetables, fruits, sun dried tea leaves, art, works of wooden sculpture with their unique style in a bustling atmosphere. Then tour excursion on the lake: leg-rowers are the most famous attraction in the region, floating gardens, Phaungdawoo Pagoda, Ngaphaechaung Monastery (Jumping Cats'), blacksmith, silk and cotton weaving factories, silver smith, cheroot Industry and boat making factory etc Overnight Lake View Resort & Spa (Inle).

Day 10: Inle Lake - Yangon

Morning visit Indein 5 market day. Then visit Indein Pagoda & village, located at the western side of the lake. Passing Nyaung Ohak Monastery and follow a stair path lined up with many hundreds of wooden columns, you finally will reach the impressive Shwe Indein Pa-O complex. On the way you can visit Myaynigone village and Lotus fiber weaving factory (Ann's). In the afternoon, transfer to airport for return flight to Yangon. On the way to Heho airport, we will photo stop at Shweyanpyay Monastery and surrounding area which offer numerous photo opportunities. Upon arrival Yangon, transfer to hotel for check in. Overnight Kandawgyi Palace Hotel (Yangon).

Day 11: Yangon

Today sightseeing includes: Zoo Garden and shopping in Bogyoke (Scott) Market- a shopping market with more than 2000 shops selling all kinds of products but of special mention is the beautiful exotic “Shan Bag” velvet slippers, lacquer ware and all sorts of handicraft and also visit to the souvenir shop and Indian Markets. Day 12: Yangon
