Day 1: Yangon

Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, welcome by local guide then transfer to hotel for check in. Your sightseeing begin by visiting Chaukhtatkyi Pagoda, houses the fourth largest colossal reclining Buddha then photo stop at the heart of Yangon such as City Hall, High Court and many colonial style buildings. Evening visit to the magnificent Shwedagon pagoda, landmark of Myanmar and one of the greatest wonders of the world. Overnight - Kandawgyi Palace hotel.

Day 2: Yangon - Bagan

Early morning transfer without guide to Yangon airport for flight to Bagan. Upon arrival, transferred to hotel for check-in. Full day sightseeing tour that includes Nyaung-U local market, Shwezigon pagoda, Kyansitta "Cave" temple, Gubyaukgyi, Htilominlo, the last Bamar style temple built in Bagan, Manuha Temple with gigantic Buddha images; Nanpaya, an Early-style temple, Ananda temple, Dhamayangyi and Mingalarzedi. At the sunset time and climb to the top of Shwesandaw stupa to enjoy magnificent views over Pagan's temples and the Ayeyarwady River.

Day 3: Bagan

Early morning visit to Sulamani, one of Pagan's great two-storied Bamar style temple and Lemethna temple, topped by an Indian-style spire similar to Ananda. Then, the three shrines of Payathonzu which are connected by passages adorned with Mahayanist paintings. Visit Nandamanya temple with fine frescoes and an unexpectedly erotic mural. Take a break from temples and wander through the village of Minnanthu to see how the local people live. In the afternoon, visit Abeyardanar temple, Nanpaya temple, the four Buddha images in Manuha's pagoda and Myazedi stupa to see Myanmar's "Rosetta Stone".

Day 4: Bagan - Mandalay

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to airport for flight to Mandalay. After hotel check-in we will take the day return private chartered boat trip to Mingun. See Mingun Pagoda: the biggest unfinished pagoda, Mingun bell: the biggest ringing bell in the world and Mya Thein Tan pagoda: The Taj Mahal of Myanmar. We also visit Mya Nan San Kyaw Palace. This golden palace represents Myanmar Sovereignty and independence. We also will see Shwenandaw Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda and Mandalay Hill, the natural watch-tower for sunrise or sunset over the city plains.

Day 5: Mandalay

After breakfast we visit the ancient city of Amarapura, City of Immortality founded in 1783 AD. Visit Mahagandaryone monastery, largest teaching monastery in Myanmar. Then enjoy the serenity of U Bein wooden Bridge constructed in 1849 and Taung- ta-man lake. We visit Mahar Myat Muni Buddha Image and head to the handicraft workshops. We drive to Innwa, a historical capital founded by King Thado Minbya in 1364. We also see Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery a fine example of Myanmar masonry, Mainu Brick Monastery and old watch tower, Sagaing Hills, a retreat for Buddhist devotees.

Day 6: Mandalay - Inle Lake

Early breakfast, transfer to airport for fly to Heho. Upon arrival you take the scenic route to Nyaung Shwe Jetty by traveling the uphill and winding road over the Shan Plateau. After hotel check in, enjoy a boat ride on Inle Lake for the whole day. Your sightseeing will start with a visit the Phaungdawoo Pagoda and Nga Phe Chaung Monastery, an attractive wooden monastery built on stilts over the lake at the end of the 1850s. Your tour would be completed with a visit to local silverware workshop, silk and lotus workshops and traditional iron work.

Day 7: Inle Lake - Yangon

Today visit Indein village, located at the western side of the lake. Passing Nyaung Ohak Monastery and follow a path lined up with hundreds of wooden columns, you finally will reach the impressive Shwe Indein Pa-O complex. From the hillside you have great view over the lake area. On the way you can visit Myaynigone village and Lotus fiber weaving factory (Ann's). In the afternoon transfer to Heho airport for flight back to Yangon. Upon arrival at Yangon, transfer to hotel without guide and check in at hotel. Overnight - Kandawgyi Palace hotel.

Day 8: Yangon

Morning visit Kandawgyi Lake and surrounding area which offer numerous photo opportunities, Botahtaung pagoda, located close to Yangon River and said to contain Buddha relics, shopping in the Bogyoke market formerly "Scott market", where you can get a wide range of Myanmar handicraft, jewelries, fabrics, lacquer wares and so on. Then transfer to Yangon International airport for your departure flight.
