Day 1: Yangon

Welcome to Burma, ‘quite unlike any place you know about’. Arrive Yangon with included airport transfer to your hotel

Day 2: Yangon

After breakfast we will start our tour of Yangon with Chaukhtatkyi Pagoda,followed by stroll through downtown Yangon with its colonial atmosphere and a visit to the beautiful post office. Relax and observe the locals going about their daily activities at Mahabandoola Park before visiting the National Museum. After lunch, visit Botahtaung Pagoda and Nanthida Jetty to witness the daily life of the local people and Yangon's River.This evening we take a stroll around in China town and the evening market selling various kinds of food, fruits and products. Enjoy the sunset at the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda located atop Singuttara Hill, where many local and Buddhists come to worship.

Day 3: Yangon - Mandalay

Today we take a morning flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport and taken to to an ancient city of Amarapura. First visit the Mahagandaryone monastery before enjoying the great serenity of U Bein wooden Bridge. We then visit Mahar Myat Muni Buddha Image, the most ancient Buddha image casted in bronze in Myanmar before touring the handicraft workshop. Following on we visit Mya Nan San Kyaw Palace. This golden palace represents Myanmar Sovereignty and independence and can arouse national patriotic spirit among Myanmar people. We also visit Shwenandaw Monastery and Kuthodaw Pagodabefore finishing the day by visiting Mandalay Hill, the natural watch-tower for the visitors to watch sunrise or sunset over the city plains.

Day 4: Mandalay

This morning we drive to Innwa ( Ava ), a historical capital founded by King Thado Minbya in 1364. Extended visit will be made to Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery which is a fine example of Myanmar masonry art and architecture, Mainu Brick Monastery and old watch tower. Our tour continues to picturesque Sagaing Hills, 21 km south-east of Mandalay and west bank of Ayeyarwaddy River. Sagaing Hills is a retreat for Buddhist devotees with numerous pagodas and monasteries. We leave Sagaing to visit the village of Ywataung to see the traditional silver workshop, Khaung Mu Daw pagoda, monasteries & Soon U Ponya Shin pagoda before returning to Mandalay.

Day 5: Mandalay - Bagan

This morning you will be transferred to the Jetty to take a boat ride on the majestic Ayeyarwaddy River from Mandalay to Bagan. Enjoy the extraordinary scenic and interesting sights along the picturesque Ayeyarwaddy River. On arrival you will be met at the Jetty and transferred to your hotel.

Day 6: Bagan

Nothing can quite prepare you for the spectacular sight of stupa-upon-stupa that fills the green, dusty plains of Bagan. Over 2000 temples and pagodas dating back some 800 years create one of the most impressive skylines to be seen in Southeast Asia. Our sightseeing today begins with a visit to the town of Nyaung-U to see the local market and Bagan’s most important reliquary shrine, the Shwezigon Pagoda, and the simple Kyansittha Cave Temple with interesting 12th century frescoes. We continue to the Manuha Temple to see the gigantic Buddhas, Nanpaya Temple, and the Ananda Temple.This evening we enjoy a tranquil sunset boat ride on the Ayeyarwaddy River.

Day 7: Bagan - Kalaw

After breakfast we drive to Kalaw about 7-8 hours. On the way to Kalaw, we stop at Toddy filed to observe how to make Jaggery, We proceed to Popa which rises 1518 meter from the flat surroundings. It is a core of an extinct volcano and believed to be the abode of the legendary “Nats” or the spirit Gods. You will enjoy the country side and ways of life of local people along the road. In the evening arrive to Kalaw then transfer to hotel for check in

Day 8: Kalaw - Pindaya

This morning we depart from Kalaw and walk approximately 2 hours through small ranges with tea-leaf and cheroot-leaf plantations, approaching Ywar Thit village of Danu people. We continue to Tar Yaw village of Palaung people. TarYaw village is reputed for its long houses of old style Palaung tribe. The long houses have six or eight Palaung families living together. In the house, hand-made weaving can be seen. Here you may also enjoy beautiful sceneries and panoramas. . Total trekking hours are about 7 hrs for the whole day. Return to Kalaw. Then proceed to Pindaya.

Day 9: Pindaya - Inle Lake

This morning we visit Pindaya Caves, well known for its Buddha statues carved out of limestone before we take a short stop at over at a 250 year old Banyan trees, Mulberry papermaking factory and a Bamboo hat making factory. Afterwards we drive to Nyaung Shwe jetty. You will be transferred to your hotel for check in. to Finish the day we take a tour on the lake: leg-rowers are the most famous attraction in the region, floating gardens, Phaungdawoo Pagoda, Ngaphaechaung Monastery (Jumping Cats'), blacksmith, silk and cotton weaving factories, silver smith, cheroot Industry and boat making factory are just dome of the sights to be seen.

Day 10: Inle Lake

This morning if possible we visit the famous market where you will see hill tribes trading their farm products of vegetables, fruits, sun dried tea leaves, art, works of wooden sculpture with their unique style in a bustling atmosphere. Also visit an Indein village, located at the western side of the lake. Passing Nyaung Ohak Monastery and follow a stair path lined up with many hundreds of wooden columns, to reach the impressive Shwe Indein Pa-O complex. From the hillside you have great view over the lake area. On the way back to the boat, walk through a romantic bamboo forest at the riverside, where you may observe local people having a bath. On the way you can visit Myaynigone village and Lotus fiber weaving factory.

Day 11: Inle Lake - Yangon

This morning you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Yangon. On arrival you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Today is a free day to explore Yangon- Kandawgyi Lake and surrounding area offers numerous photo opportunities, shopping in the Bogyoke market formerly "Scott market", where you can get a wide range of Myanmar handicraft, jewelries, fabrics, lacquer wares and so on. (note; this market is closed on every Mondays.)

Day 12: Yangon

Today our arrangements come to an end with a departure transfer to the airport.
