Day 1: Colombo

Welcome to Sri Lanka and the start of your of journey through this tropical Indian Ocean Island! You'll be met at Colombo Airport and transferred to your hotel in the down town area. Sit back and relax for the remainder of the day.

Day 2: Colombo - Kandy

After breakfast your driver will take you to Kandy. Arriving here, simply check in and relax at your hotel or head out to explore at your leisure.

Day 3: Kandy

Enjoy a wonderful excursion to the elephant orphanage in Pinnawela today where you can assist to bathe and feed the elephants. Afterwards visit Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. Back in the scenic lakeside town of Kandy, embark upon a sightseeing tour, visiting the bazaar, the arts & crafts centre and a gem museum. In the evening, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and then enjoy a cultural show featuring traditional Sri Lankan dancing.

Day 4: Kandy - Yala National Park

This morning we depart to Yala National Park. Arriving here, simply check in and relax at your hotel or head out to explore at your leisure.

Day 5: Yala National Park

This morning, we enjoy a jeep safari. The largest national park in Sri Lanka, Yala is home to elephants, wild boar, buffalo, leopard, crocodile and myriad birdlife. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 6: Yala National Park

Morning at your leisure to explore. This evening, we enjoy a sunset jeep safari.

Day 7: Yala National Park - Unawatuna

After breakfast we will drive to Unawatuna. Arriving here, simply check in and relax at your hotel. In the afternoon we enjoy a guided journey of Galle - The Galle fort was built first by the Portuguese, and then modified by the Dutch during the 17th century. Even today, after 400 years of existence, it looks new and polished with reconstruction work done by Archaeological Department of Sri Lanka. Return to your hotel for the evening.

Days 8-11: Unawatuna

Enjoy the next few days relaxing on the palm fringed beaches of Unawatuna.

Day 12: Unawatuna - Colombo

We will transfer you back to Colombo and check you into the hotel. Rest of the day is free for you to explore on your own.

Day 13: Colombo

Highlights of our sightseeing tour of Sri Lanka’s capital include the Fort – once a colonial stronghold, Galle Face Green – a seaside expanse popular for informal cricket games, the Pettah – a noisy oriental bazaar, a visit to Gamgarama temple, Cinnamon Gardens and Independence Square.

Day 14: Colombo

Sadly your Sri Lankan adventure comes to end today! We will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight home.
