Day 2: Explore St Petes
Good morning St Petersburg! Almost flamboyant St Petersburg is designed around a series of canals and rivers. Bereft of the Soviet breezeblock style architecture that characterises so many of Russia’s cities, the city is jam-packed with grandiose palaces and stately buildings. The world-famous Hermitage art collection at the Winter Palace remains St Pete’s top culture-vulture attraction. The palaces and stately homes of the aristocratic tsars, Tsarskoe Selo and Peterhof are also worth seeking out. Enjoy a guided coach tour of the city’s key sites, with the rest of the day to explore or chill-out. Buzzing with cafés, bars and restaurants, St Pete’s is renowned for it’s fine Baltika beer and unashamedly good vodka. Perhaps get your visit off to a celebratory start! Overnight - St Petersburg

Day 3: Free time
Free day to explore the city and surrounds. Most of the inner city sights are located on and just off the main thoroughfare Nevsky Prospekt that stretches for around 4 km from near the Winter Palace Embankment to Alexander Nevsky Monastery, so St Pete’s is good for walkers!
