Kicking off in Istanbul, the powerhouse of the Ottoman Empire, follow the Aegean coastline stopping off at Gallipoli, Troy, ancient Ephesus and Pamukkale before embarking on a cruise of the Mediterranean Sea from coastal Marmaris.

Please Note: This tour is semi independent in style from days 7 - 15, ie. from day 7 you will not be escorted by a tour guide.
Day 1: Istanbul
Saturday. Arrive Istanbul and transfer to our hotel. Istanbul is easy to get around on foot and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes dotted about the city. Afternoon and evening at leisure. Overnight - Istanbul

Day 2: The Old City
Istanbul. Enjoy a tour of the Old City from where the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires were ruled. We’ll visit the stunning Blue Mosque famed for it’s blue Iznik tiles, Hippodrome, Hagia Sofia - constructed as a Basilica in the 6th century by Emperor Justinian and Topkapi Palace. ANZAC Cove in Gallipoli
Day 3: Gallipoli
Istanbul – Gallipoli. Today we explore ANZAC Cove and the many memorials dotted across the WW1 battlefields. Our guided tour takes in sights such as ANZAC Cove, Lone Pine Memorial and cemetery, Chunuk Bair Memorial and cemetery, the Nek, Johnston’s Jolly and the many fortified trenches still clearly visible amongst the scrub after all these years. Gallipoli - Kusadasi. Step back in time as we visit the legendary Roman ruins of Troy and Pergamum. We enjoy a guided tour of the ancient city of Troy dating back to 3000BC! En route to Kusadasi, we explore the ruins of Pergamum with it’s impressive temples,library and medical facilities, before visiting a local carpet emporium - Turkey produces some of the finest carpets in the world! Today we explore ancient Ephesus. Exemplifying the finesse of Roman urban life, Ephesus boasts incredible excavated ruins including a Great Theatre, Curetes Way, the Temple of Serapis and the Library of Celsus. Stop by the ancient public toilets and public brothel! Overnight - Kusadasi (B, D)

Kusadasi – Pammukale - Marmaris. Meandering through the sweeping plains and cotton farms we arrive at the ruins of Roman Hieropolis and the hot springs of Pamakkule. Admire this surreal landscape created by frequent earthquakes. Marvel at the crystalline marble, quartzites and stalagtites, which shimmer in the sunlight. There will be time to paddle our feet as we walk the terraces or opt for a dip in the Thermal Bath House before visiting a leather fashion house. Overnight - Marmaris (B, D)
Days 7 - 8: Marmaris
On day 7 enjoy free time exploring Marmaris on Turkey’s spectacular Mediterranean coast. On day 8 boarding of our gulet begins at 3:30pm from the port and the night is spent in Marmaris harbour. Overnight - Marmaris (1) - Gulet (Marmaris) (1) (B:2)
Day 9: Turtle Beach
After a short welcome meeting this morning, we set sail towards Ekincik Gulf. Today there is an optional boat trip along the Dalyan river to Turtle Beach, passing Lycian rock tombs on the way to the sulphurous mud baths and hot springs. Overnight - Gulet (Gulf of Ekincik) (B, L, D)
Day 10: Oludeniz & Gemiler
An early start this morning as we set sail to world-famous Oludeniz Bay for lunch and a swimming break. Oludeniz Bay is one of the most photographed beaches in the Mediterranean and is home to a gorgeous blue lagoon. This afternoon we head to Gemiler Island for an early evening walk. On the walk you can visit the beautiful Byzantine Church of St Nicholas located at the top of the island. Overnight - Gulet (Gemiler Strait) (B, L, D)

Days 11 - 12: Fethiye
After breakfast on day 4 we cruise to Turunch Pinari for lunch and a swim before continuing to Fethiye Harbour where we will arrive approximately 16:00 p.m. Fethiye, was the most important city situated on Lycia's western border with Caria. It is believed the city's name comes from Apollon's son Telmessos. The city was famous for its prophets and stretches along the bay protected by 12 Islands. Today it's a popular coastal town, with an attractive harbour, markets and an array of lovely restaurants and bars. Upon arrival you're free to explore the town.

After breakfast on day 5 we cruise past beautiful islands before anchoring at the Yassica Islands for lunch. Continuing on we stop at Tersane Island for a swim stop and finally drop anchor for the night at Bedri Rahmi Bay Overnight - Gulet (Fethiye Harbour (1) Bedri Rahmi Bay (1)) (B:2, L:2, D:2)

Day 13: Sunken Bath Bay
This morning we cruise to Mantasir Bay for a refreshing swim and a delicious lunch. The bay is home to Sunken Bath Bay and an underwater ancient bath. Later we cruise to Aga Limani for the evening. Overnight - Overnight - Gulet (Aga Limani Bay) (B, L, D)
Day 14: Back to Marmaris
This morning we sail to Kumlubuk Bay where we have breakfast. Anchoring at Cennet Island for our last swim stop and some lunch. We arriv into Marmaris early evening which gives us the opportunity to experience the city’s great nightlife. Overnight - Gulet (Marmaris) (B, L, D)
Day 15: Goodbye Turkey
This morning bid farewell to new friends and crew and disembark the boat. (B)
