I really enjoyed seeing so much of Turkey. I was very excited about all of the history on the tour. Metin was excellent as a tour guide, very funny approachable and friendly.

Turkey Unplugged - 10 Days |
Hello Jane,
We had a fantastic holiday. From the moment we were met at the airport to our final farewell of Turkey, everything was terrific. Our guide, Kenan Bodur was a wealth of information and made touring the sites so informative.
We enjoyed his company very much. Both our drivers were cautious and very considerate. We felt very safe indeed.
There was nothing we would change about our holiday other than a few more days in Istanbul. On the go tours provided a considered, well presented itinerary that met all our expectations. All accommodation was top class and it we fell in love with Sirince and the hotel, Nisanyan Evleri. What a paradise!
Thank you for assisting in making it such a memorable holiday. We are already recommending "on the go tours" to friends who are thinking about a trip next year Keep up the good work
With much appreciation,

Tailor-made Holidays |
Steve and I are back in London but had a fabulous time in Turkey. We have seen and learn a lot. We can't speak highly enough of our guide, Hussein, or our driver. Hussein's organisation made everything very easy and his breadth of knowledge was just amazing. Also the group of people we travelled with were all so very nice and friendly that it was sad to say goodbye to them. We feel very lucky to have won the raffle prize and thank On The Go for being so wonderful as to sponsor it for London Legacy.
Best wishes and kind regards.

Hi,
My father and I had a wonderful time in Turkey.
We arrived into Istanbul and it was raining and cold and then it snowed on our way to Gallipoli. Then we got down south and was nice and warm. So it was great to have cold, snow and warm weather to swim.
Our group was only small starting at 15 and dropping to 11 half way through which was nice. We had a small bus which leaked diesel fuel at one point so they had to fix it over night and then on our last day coming back to Istanbul from Safronbolu we had a flat battery and then once we got on the highway our fan belt broke so our tour guide called in a friend`s mini bus to take us back but this just added to the fun of the trip.
The hotels were great and tour guide (Huseyin) was great, he had such great knowledge of Turkey.
I will definitely go back Turkey one day.
Thankyou for all your help.

We arrived into Istanbul and jumped on our next Tour with On The Go, around Turkey. The makeup of our tour group was mainly people in their late 20s, and in their 30s, so we fit right in (not too many tour companies seem to target this age group, it was nice to find one that does!) We had a few people in their early 60s, but they were young at heart and fit right in too. We had a smaller group- just 18 of us on a full sized bus, but I guess this is really luck of the draw. We stayed in 4 star (Turkish rated) hotels the whole way, which probably ranged from 3-4 stars by Australian standards. We thought the tour was good value for money. The company tends to use English speaking local guides, so ours was a fellow (early 30s) from Istanbul, trained in Archaeology, knowledgeable, with a great sense of humour. The pace of the tour was quite fast (and a fair bit of walking so you needed a small degree of fitness). You definitely saw and did a lot in the ten days, the major highlights of Western Turkey-hence I guess why they call themselves “on the go”. In saying that, even though you were doing a lot, it still felt quite laid back. We’ve been on some tours where they are so strict and have so many rules that you feel like you are a child on a school excursion! But this one felt fun and like you were on a holiday rather than a pure learning expedition. We loved this tour and we would definitely choose On the Go again.

It was another great trip and once again we were kept 'On the Go' the whole time! The tour guide Fahre was fantastic and very helpful and professional. He always went the extra mile for us.

Just wanted to drop you an email to say thanks for organising everything for me for the Draconoids Meteor Trip. I had an absolutely incredible time and have to say that this tour was one of the best I have been on. Our tour guide, Hussein, was a wealth of information. I aslo liked that he was able to take us around the different sights and explain the history to us, rather than off-loading us to another person for each site visited. It is the first "On The Go" tour I've been on, yet I would defintely recommend to friends to go with you guys.

Draconids Meteor Shower - 10 days |
Dear On The Go Team,
First of all, I would like to thank you for the amazing experience that Turkey Discovered was. Thanks to you, I could see many beautiful places at an affordable price. The trip was an unforgettable experience due to the fact that you managed to combine a varied array of must-see places.I also met some lovely people in the group.
The guide and driver (Koray and Vedat) were two nice and helpful persons without whom this adventure would not have been the same. Both did a great job with a sense of humour.
I admired the region of Cappadocia with its original tuff formations and all the other places that were included in the tour. I loved the fact that you managed to combine cities with so many naturally beatiful places like lakes, rivers, caves and the abovementioned Fairy Chimneys (I only wish I had seen the ones with 'caps', and my boyfriend wishes the free day had been in Marmaris or Antalya as there was an aquapark there - you can't satisfy everyone;D).
The hotels that were booked for the trip were top-notch, and the food was nice. I loved the Tourist Hotel that we stayed in in Cappadocia; I think this choice was ideal considering the lovely views of Cappadocia it offered.
Overall, I totally enjoyed the tour and do not regret anything. I took over 2000 pictures and I am still left with over 1700 after careful deletion of the unwanted ones - this is testimony in itself.
Last but not least, I have compared my itinerary with the one of my sister's who went on a similar tour with another company a couple of months before me. I must say that the selection of places was way more interesting with On The Go, and the hotels were of better quality at the same tour price. You win!
