After breakfast in your hotel, there is a full day guided tour which includes St. Sophia which was the largest church in Christendom for a thousand years and the Byzantine Hippodrome. The Ottoman Empire produced marvellous architecture and you'll see Topkapi Palace and the Blue Mosque of Sultan Ahmet I. After, you'll venture into the labyrinthine Grand Bazaar.
After breakfast we will transfer you to the airport for the flight to Ankara and on arrival we will check you into the hotel. We will see Hacı Bayram Suare and visit the Temple of Augustus, East of Julian's Column and next to Haci Bayram Mosque are the ruins of a temple standing on a site that has, in it's time, been dedicated to an impressive list of deities. After that we cross Cankiri Street to find the fenced enclosure that has been erected to protect the site. Finally we will see The Kocatepe Mosque is the largest mosque in Ankara, and its size and prominent situation have made it a landmark that can be seen from almost anywhere in central Ankara.The tour will end with a panoramic view of Ankara from the top of the Tower of Atakule. Departure from the hotel to explore capital city of Turkey. History of Ankara goes back to Hatti Civilisation, Bronze Age. First we will visit Anatolian Civilizations Museum located around Ankara Castle. Exhibits in the museum, starts with Paleolithic era and continue through chronological order. We will see The Citadel overlooks the city and is the acknowledged symbol of Ankara. It is the oldest part of the city, built either by Hittites or Phrygians, people live almost as they did 600 years ago. After that, we will proceed to Mousoleum of Ataturk, Republic’s founder and leader Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Overnight - Movenpick Hotel
After breakfast we'll transfer you to the airport for the flight to Cappadocia and on arrival check you into the hotel. We will visit to Devrent Valley where various types of fairy chimneys are abundant. We will walk through this amazing valley. Thereafter visit Pasabagi (Monk's Valley) with multiple stems and caps, peculiar to this area. After visiting Pasabagi, drive to Avanos which is known for the pottery, a craft dating back to the Hittite period. The red clay which is worked by local craftsmen comes from the residue in the Kizilirmak river, the longest river of Turkey.
After breakfast we'll see Goreme Open Air Museum to visit the churches, chapels and monasteries carved into the fairy chimneys from the 10th to the 13th centuries with frescos painted on the walls. Then we will visit Kaymakli Underground City where early Christians lived in fear and faith. On the way back visit to panoramic Pıdgeon Valley where pigeons contributed to the lives of locals with their manure to fertilize the wineyards.
You are going to be picked from your hotel early in the morning, usually before sunrise and driven to takeoff site. Right after the passenger brief, the highlight of your Turkey trip will start and you will take-off gently. After taking hundreds of pictures over the valleys of Cappadocia, you will land and celebrate your flight with champagne. After breakfast visit the Devrent Valley where various types of fairy chimneys are abundant. We will walk through this amazing valley. Thereafter visit Pasabagi (Monk's Valley) with multiple stems and caps, peculiar to this area. We will also see Uchisar Castle, the highest point in all of Cappadocia. Outside the castle, you'll ride a camel and have an opportunity to take pictures! Your guide and driver will leave tonight.
