Welcome to Turkey and the start of your holiday! We will be there to meet you at your hotel and transfer you to the Ataturk Airport for your flight to Cappadocia. OPTIONAL - Opt for our early morning Balloon ride! (Cost details on quote page). This morning we visit the Devrent Valley to see the unique fairy-chimneys. We then drive onto Pasabagi (Monk's Valley) to see the most interesting mushroom-shaped pinnacles. After lunch we visit the Open Air Museum in Goreme where the remains of rock-cut churches and Christian settlements date back hundreds of years.
After breakfast we transfer you to Kayseri Airport for our flight to Izmir via Istanbul. Arrive in Kusadasi and transfer to your hotel. Remainder of today is at leisure.
Today we explore the great ancient site of Asia Minor, Ephesus with its temples, library, market and spectacular Theater. We continue onto the Virgin Mary’s cottage and the Temple of Diana.
Departing for Pamukkale to visit the Ancient Hierapolis which has the biggest Nekropol with 1200 gravestones in Anatolia. The sacred pool a is also one of the highlights of the site. The shallow thermal waters ripple over a wonderful scattering of ancient roman ruins that lie beneath. Transfer back to our hotel in Kusadasi.
Day at leisure in Kusadasi.
Morning at leisure, before boarding our boat from Marmaris Harbour, from 15:30 onwards. On the first day, the service starts on the boat with dinner and an overnight stay in Marmaris Port. Marmaris, which was built upon one of the antique Karian cities called Phyckos, has been under the rule of many different civilizations. The most valuable work of art that you can see today is Marmaris Castle dating from 1577. There is also a mosque and an 8-room caravansary covered with arches from the Ottoman Period. The ruins of the Antique times lie on Asar Hill; a small, low hill located on the northern side of the city. Being one of the best-known touristic places of Turkey, Marmaris has also a large marina and night life.
After breakfast, you will be informed about the cruise itinerary and the boat. The cruise will move towards Ekincik Gulf. You may join our optional Dalyan Tour from here (paid locally). You will be taken from your yacht by a small boat called “piyade”. You will arrive at Caretta-Caretta (turtle) Beach and enjoy a swim. You will see the ancient Rock Tombs and finally arrive at mud baths to relax and be rejuvenated. A fishing village called Dalyan will be our final destination after we return to our yacht by piyade boat. Dinner and an overnight stay will be in the Gulf of Ekincik.
To avoid the rough seas, we cruise earlier than the other days and reach the world-famous Oludeniz Bay. Our yacht will be anchored in Oludeniz for lunch and a swimming break. The next stop will be Gemiler Island, we recommend that you have an early evening walk on Gemiler Island and pay a visit to the Church of St. Nicholas, located at the top of the island, which remains from Byzantine times. Dinner and an overnight stay will be in the Gemiler Strait.
After breakfast, we will cruise to Turunc Pinari for lunch and a swimming break. We arrive in Fethiye Harbour around 16:00 p.m. Disembarking our boat, we drive Antalya. Evening at leisure.
After breakfast, we drive to the Perge Roman Site, which is one of the well-preserved ruins along the Mediterranean coast. We continue onto Aspendos with its wonderful Roman amphi theater. Lastly today we explore the Kursunlu waterfall before returning to our hotel.
Today we bid you farewell with a transfer to Antalya airport to fly to Istanbul to meet your onward fight.
