Your adventure in Turkey starts with a transfer from your specified location in Antalya to Konya, one of Turkey's oldest continuously inhabited sites. On arrival check in to your hotel and later enjoy a visit to the Mevlana Mausoleum, the former lodge of the whirling dervishes. Enjoy a performance in the evening.
Departing Konya today we follow the ancient Silk Road route to Cappadocia, a bizarre landscape of eroded rocks. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure.
A guided tour of the region takes us to the World Heritage listed site of the Göreme Valley where you’ll see stunning examples of rock-cut Byzantine churches, chapels and temples and Zelve with its phallic-like eroded landscape. Stopping on the outskirts of Goreme Village, see Pigeon Valley where century’s old pigeon houses are carved into the surrounding cliffs.
Departing this other-worldly landscape we head back to Antalya via the rugged Taurus Mountains. On arrival check in to your hotel.
Today visit Antalya's Old Town of cobbled streets and restored Ottoman houses. We also visit the Archaelogical Museum, one of Turkey's largest museums brimming with ancient artifacts. Later we visit the picturesque Karpuzkaldiren Waterfalls.
After breakfast and hotel check out we will transfer you to the bus station for your bus journey to Bodrum. End of services.
