Today we will meet you at the airport in Istanbul and transfer you to your hotel for the night.
Early this morning you will be transferred to the airport for your short flight to Denizli. You will be transferred to Pamukkale and enjoy a full day guided sightseeing. The day will include a visit to the ‘cotton castles’ of Pammukale and the ruins of Roman Hieropolis. We can paddle our feet and walk the terraces.
Today we will make our way to Ephesus, with a couple of stops along the way. We will stop at Aphrodisias, the city dedicated to Aphrodite. After lunch we will visit Davutlar National Park and Bafa Lake.
Today you will enjoy a full day tour out at the ruins of Ephesus – which is the best preserved classical city in the Eastern Med and among the best places in the world to get a feel for what Roman life must have been like. Ephesus, under the Romans was a vast city with a population nearing 250,000. It reveled in its prosperity from commerce and visiting pilgrims who came to see its great Temple of Artemis - one of the Seven ancient Wonders! We will also visit Spil Mountain National Park.
Today we will visit Pergamum – during its heyday, Pergamum was one of Middle East’s richest and most powerful small kingdoms. Here you will visit the Acropolis and Asclepion; an ancient medical centre founded by a local citizen.
On the way to Canakkale today you will stop at the Kuscenneti Milli National Park, Troy and Assos. Throughout the year, this National Park plays host to 255 different species of birds. Assos is a hidden gem, which overlooks a picturesque harbour.
Today we will drive to Gallipoli and explore the WW1 battlefields on Gallipoli Peninsular and enjoy a guided tour of the evocative war memorials that dot the region, for example: Lone Pine, Chunuk Bair, Johnston’s Jolly, battlefields, trenches and Kabatepe - the modest ANZAC museum.
Today you will enjoy a full day tour of Istanbul. You will visit the Blue Mosque, The Topkapı Palace, Aya Sophia, Roman Hippodrome and the Grand Bazaar which includes over 4000 shops! The Blue Mosque is so named due to the blue tiles that line the walls.
Today after breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your departing flight.
