Upon your arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your Hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your own leisure
After breakfast in your hotel, there is a full day guided tour which includes St. Sophia the cathedral and the Byzantine Hippodrome. The Ottoman Empire produced marvelous architecture and you'll see two of its finest works: Topkapi Palace, home of the sultans, and the famed Blue Mosque of Sultan Ahmet I. After all these visits, you'll venture into the labyrinthine Grand Bazaar.Transfer back to your hotel for the night. Optional dinner with a Turkish show is available tonight.
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Gallipoli and visit The World War I open air museum, Anzac Cove, Lone Pine Cemetery, Johnston’s jolly (Turkish and Allied Trenches and tunnels), The Nek, Anzac Cove, Nek, Conk Bair, Lone Pine and the 57th regiment memorial and the war museum, cross the Dardanelles. Overnight stay in Canakkale.
After breakfast at the hotel drive to legendary to Troy; a 5000 years old archaeological city, then you will see a reconstruction of the fabled Wooden Horse, which used in Trojan War, crossing the legendary mountain Ida arrival to Pergamum, one of Turkey's oldest civilized settlements. Visit the ancient city of acropolis founded on top of a steep hill (300 m) make this area a fascinating stop for history-loving tourists. Also visit Altar of Zeus. Continue to Kusadasi for the night.
After Breakfast morning drive to Ancient city of Ephesus where you will explore some of the best preserved theatres, fountains and buildings in the world. A definite must while in Turkey. Then visit to the House of Mother Mary where she is supposed to spend her last years together with St. John a short drive to visit Ephesus and Mother Mary House, we will have the opportunity to discover and understand the rich history behind local handicrafts. Return to Kusadasi for the night.
After Breakfast we depart for Bodrum which is built on peninsula by the meeting of eastern and western harbours. It is famous narrow streets winding down the sea, it's world renowned yachts, its shipyards and dazzling white houses and tombs lining the shores of it's two harbours. Upon arrival we visit Bodrum Theater, the Mausoleum and then to the Castle of Saint Peter. In 1402 as a hospital for pilgrims to Jerusalem, now it is the Bodrum Underwater Archaeology Museum and Laboratory.
After Breakfast drive through the meander plain and cotton farms, arrive to Pamukkale, time to enjoy the beauty of lime cascade and visit ancient Hierapolis which has the biggest Nekropol with 1200 gravestones in Anatolia. The sacred pool also is one of the highlights of the site. There shallow thermal waters ripple over a wonderful scattering of ancient roman ruins that lie beneath, graveyard and the lime cascade, return to your hotel with the hot spring pool.
This morning we will drive you to Antalya, arrival at mid-noon, pay a visit to the ancient city of drive to Perge, originally settled by the Hittites around 1500 B.C., the place with the impressive colonnaded street and where most of the statues that are on display in Antalya Museum were unearthed. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon by the Mediterranean coast.
Today is a free day with choices of optional tours of Phaselis, a coastal ancient city or a lazy yacht cruise along the turquoise coast off the Mediterranean.
Today we depart for Cappadocia , on the way we visit the 13th century Agzikarahan caravansary the land of Fairy Chimneys. We pay a visit to the famous underground city of Kaymakli. Before we check in our hotel, we will taste Cappadocian wine in a cave winery. Local dinner in a restaurant and overnight stay in Cappadocia.
Early in the morning an optional Balloon tour is available. Later enjoy a full day excursion in Cappadocia including visits to the Kaymakli Underground City, open air Museum in Goreme to see the best examples of Byzantine art in Cappadocia. Here, you ill have the opportunity to discover and understand the rich history behind local handicrafts like hand-made carpets, Turkish tiles ,onyx and potteries. Overnight stay in Cappadocia.
Morning departure for Ankara, we will visit Mausoleum of Ataturk and its Museum. This is the burial place of the national hero who founded modern Republic of Turkey and Anatolian Civilizations Museum. The exhibits are displayed chronologically beginning witha collection of stone utensils for daily use dating from the Paleolithic period and semi-precious jewels from the 6th millennium. Continue to your hotel in Ankara for the night.
After breakfast visit the old town of Safranbolu where you can test the fine sample of Turkish delights then continue to drive to Istanbul afternoon visit Grand Bazaar Safranbolu is the world heritage town of Unesco which is considered as an open air museum. Tonight we stay at an old ottoman mansion.
After breakfast we drive to Bursa , the first capital of the Ottoman Empire in the 14th century, and a major spa center, visit the Ottoman complex to see the Grand Mosque, the Green Mosque and the Green Mausoleum, the tomb of Sultan Mehmet I. This is Bursa's loveliest building, with its spectacular tile work. Also visit the covered Bazaar with its local cotton goods, and Koza Han, the silk cocoon caravanserai, with shops selling beautiful silks and brocades. Continue to your hotel for the night.
After breakfast drive to Istanbul. Afternoon optional: half day Bosphorus Cruise, including last minute shopping in the Spice Market. Tonight farewell dinner.
Today you will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight back home.
