Day 1: Istanbul

Welcome to Turkey and the next part of your holiday! We will be there to meet you at the airport and will transfer you to your hotel. Evening briefing with your guide about the upcoming tour. Dinner included at your hotel.

Day 2: Istanbul

After breakfast enjoy a full day tour of the magnificent city of Istanbul. Explore Topkapi Palace and it's Library that houses thousands of historic manuscripts then a visit to the Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque and the Roman Hippodrome; once home to chariot races, gladiatorial battles and public executions.

Day 3: Istanbul

Today we enjoy a day of libraries galore. We visit the most significant ones including the Süleymaniye Library, the Nuruosmaniye Library, the Central Library of Istanbul University and the State Library in the city district of Beyazıt (Beyazıt Devlet Kütüphanesi) This evening enjoy a cultural dinner and entertainment at a great city venue.

Day 4: Istanbul

This morning we transfer you to Kabatas docks for a full day cruise on the Bosporus river a waterway that divides the two continents, Europe and Asia - we will stop for certain points, walk around specific areas, visit imperial palaces and climb magnificent fortresses with your guide and also see where it meets the Black sea, Lunch is served on board.

Day 5: Istanbul - Ankara

This morning we travel by private coach to Ankara arrival and we visit the mausoleum and museum of Kemal Ataturk, one of Turkey’s most revered leaders, famous for his progressive reform of Turkish society and his incredible strategic command during World War I, thwarting the Allied attempts at invading Turkey. Evening at leisure.

Day 6: Ankara

Three of the richest libraries in Turkey are in Ankara - the National Library (Milli Kütüphane ), the Library of the Turkish Historical Society (Türk Tarih Kurumu) and Bilkent University Library (the biggest university library in Turkey). All three of these we will visit today. Evening at leisure.

Day 7: Ankara - Bursa

This morning we drive on a different highway to the city of Bursa. Arrival and visit Inebey Library this is the 3rd biggest manuscript library of Turkey with its 8773 manuscript books. Check into your hotel. Evening at leisure.

Day 8: Bursa

Today we transfer you to Istanbul airport for your flight home.
