Day 1: Ankara

Upon your arrival in Ankara you will be met by our representative and we will visit to the Anatolian Civilizations Museum at which numerous remnants from Stone Age, Neolithic Age, Hittites, Urartians, Phrygians and many others are on display; Citadel of Ankara and the Mausoleum of Ataturk, the burial place of the national hero who founded modern Republic of Turkey. Day 2: Ankara

We drive approx 208km to Hattusas this morning that was the capital of the Hittite Kingdom for a long time. Before visiting the main capital proceed to Yazılıkaya to see the open air sanctuary as the sun light comes on the bas-reliefs direct in the morning. In the afternoon visit to the capital of Hattusas with Lion’s Gate, Tunnel, King’s Gate, Citadel and Grand Temple. Later we journey back to Ankara. Overnight Gordion Hotel or similar.

Day 3: Ankara - Cappadocia

Today we travel onto Cappadocia - perhaps the jewel in Turkey’s crown. Cappadocia is one of Turkey’s most extraordinary national treasures. Overnight Tafaoni Cave Hotel or similar.

Day 4: Cappadocia

Today we visit the Devrent Valley to see the unique fairy-chimneys. Drive to Pasabagi (Monk's Valley) to see the most interesting mushroom-shaped pinnacles. In the afternoon visit Open Air Museum in Goreme where the remains of rock-cut churches and Christian settlements date back hundreds of years. Overnight Tafaoni Cave Hotel or similar.

Day 5: Cappadocia

Early this morning enjoy a Hot air Balloon ride (shared shuttle transfer). After visiting Derinkuyu Underground City proceed to Ihlara Canyon, a "mirage" in the steps of Anatolia near Belisirma Village, the ancient Peristrema: "Valley of the Sky" along the Melendiz River. Rock-cut churches, spread across a wild plantation, surprise you with their successfully painted representations from the Bible. Time for lunch in Belisirma at a local restaurant by the river. Stop by Selime, a village with cave houses at the end of the canyon and a "star wars" like landscape. Overnight Tafaoni Cave Hotel or similar.

Day 6: Cappadocia

Today is a free day for you to relax or explore independently. Overnight Tafaoni Cave Hotel or similar.

Day 7: Cappadocia - Izmir

Today we will transfer you to Kayseri Airport for our domestic flight to Izmir. Upon arrival we will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel for the night. Overnight Marlight Hotel or similar.

Day 8: Izmir

Today is a free day for you to relax or explore independently. Overnight Marlight Hotel or similar.

Day 9: Izmir

Start the day visiting The Great ancient site of Asia Minor , Ephesus with its temples, library, market, and spectacular Theater continue to the Virgin Mary’s cottage and the Temple of Diana before returning back to your hotel. Overnight Marlight Hotel or similar.

Day 10: Izmir

Drive on to Pamukkale and visit Hierapolis with thermal bath,theater, Necrapolis and the lime cascade and then the visit to Aphrodisias, the ancient city of some of the world s most beautiful architectural wonders, visit one of the largest ancient Theaters in the world, the Odeon, Bishop s Palace, Stadium, Temple of Aphrodite and the Museum with the gorgeous reliefs and statues of the sculptors of Aphrodisias. We return back to our hotel in Izmir for the night. Overnight Marlight Hotel or similar.
