Day 1: Istanbul

Welcome to Turkey and the start of your journey of discovery through the Land of the Sultans! Arriving into Istanbul Airport our friendly local team await to transfer you to your hotel. Spend the afternoon at leisure or head out to explore the city. Istanbul is easy and safe to get around on foot and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes dotted about the city.

Day 2: Istanbul - Cappadocia

After breakfast we drive you to the airport in time for your flight to Keyseri. Arriving here, we will transfer you to Cappadocia for check in to your hotel.

Day 3: Cappadocia

This morning enjoy a hot air balloon ride over the incredible landscape of Cappadocia, before embarking upon a full day sightseeing tour of the region. Discover the surreal landscapes of Cappadocia, visit Pigeon Valley, then visit the natural fortress of Uchisar. After we set off to see Goreme Open Air Museum, the small town of Avnos, the mushroom chimneys of Pasabaglar and finally the picturesque Dervent Valley.

Day 4: Cappadocia - Izmir

Morning you fly to Izmir. Arriving here we journey to legendary Ephesus - positively the best-preserved classical city in the eastern Mediterranean. Ephesus, under the Romans was a vast city with a population nearing 250,000, revelling in prosperity from commerce and visiting pilgrims who came to see its great Temple of Artemis - one of the Seven Ancient Wonders. We will have plenty of time to tour the marble ruins of Ephesus. Be sure to see the famous Library of Celsus, the gymnasium of Vedius, Stadium, and the Great Theatre. Returning to your hotel in the evening.

Day 5: Izmir

After breakfast visit the incredible white calcium terraces of Pamukkale and ancient Hierapolis, with its Necropolis graveyard of over 1200 graves. The Temple of Apollo, the Plutonium, dating back to third century BC and the sacred pool are some of the highlights of Hierapolis. The shallow thermal waters ripple over a wonderful scattering of ancient roman ruins that lie beneath.

Day 6: Izmir - Canakkale

Today you head north and drive for your hotel base in Canakkale.

Day 7: Canakkale - Istanbul

After breakfast, we will cross the Dardanelles then continue to Gallipoli to visit Anzac Cove, Nek, Conk Bair, Lone Pine and 57.th regiment memorial as well as the war museum. We then drive to Istanbul, arriving in the evening.

Day 8: Istanbul

After breakfast enjoy a full day tour of the magnificent city of Istanbul. Explore Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque and the underground cisterns, before trying your hand at a spot of haggling in the Grand Bazaar.

Day 9: Istanbul

This morning we will drive to Eminönü to visit the aromatic Spice Bazaar. After that a Bosphorus Cruise taking in the marble palaces, ancient wooden villas of Ottoman architecture besides modern residentials and luxurious apartments.

Day 10: Istanbul

After breakfast you will be driven to the airport in time for your flight home.
