Take a domestic flight from Istanbul to Cappadocia and make a connection to your arrival international flight. Upon your arrival to Kayseri airport, you will be met and drive to your hotel in Cappadocia. Overnight Cappadocia – Cappadocia Palace Hotel
First stop is Esentepe, followed by a visit to Uchisar Castle. We then trek through Rose Valley to Cavusin, where we stop for lunch and learn about hand-made potteries. Afterwards, we visit the Pasabag Fairy Chimneys, followed by Devrent Valley and Urgup Winery to taste the delicious wines of Cappadocia. Overnight Cappadocia – Cappadocia Palace Hotel
This morning, we head to Pigeon Valley, followed by Ihlara Valley for a light trek. After visiting the small villages of Selimiye and Yaprakhisar, we visit the scenery where part of the Star Wars Movie was shot. Starting from Cappadocia we have an interesting drive today as we pass by Tekir plateau, Karatay Caravansaray and Kahraman Maras (produces Turkey's best ice cream!) before arriving in Kahta. Overnight Adiyaman
Arrive at Mt. Nemrut before dawn and ascend the mountain for 15 minutes to watch the magical sunrise over the plateau, and visit the massive ancient rock statues. Return to Kahta and tour the Ancient city. Head south to Harran for a tour of this fascinating 400 year old town, including the mudbrick beehive houses. Overnight Sanliurfa
After breakfast, we head to Birecik to see the famous Bald Ibis birds, then return to Cappadocia. Overnight Cappadocia – Cappadocia Palace Hotel
Today, you will start a private tour with your tour guide. Departure in the morning and arrive in Hattusas that was the capital of the Hittite Kingdom for a long time. Before visiting the main capital proceed to Yazılıkaya to see the open air sanctuary as the sun light comes on the bas-reliefs direct in the morning. In the afternoon visit to the capital of Hattusas with Lion’s Gate, Tunnel, King’s Gate, Citadel and Grand Temple. Then drive to Ankara. Overnight Ankara
Visit the restored Hazeranlar Konagi, the Gok Medrese Camii, Torumtay Turbesi, the Museum which also houses some Mongol mummies, the Sultan Beyazit II Camii set in lovely gardens, and the Tas Han - an Ottoman caravanserai now used as a bazaar. Also view the Burmali Minare Camii with its spiralled minaret, the Fethiye Camii which was originally a 7th Century Byzantine church, and the marvellous facade of the Bimarhane Medresesi, a lunatic asylum built in 1308 by the Mongols. Drive up to the kale (Castle) for views. There will also be some free time to wander again along the river banks, and maybe drink tea in one of the tea gardens. Overnight Amasya
Continue on to charming "olde worlde" Safranbolu, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with some of the most beautiful traditional old Ottoman mansions in Turkey. Visit the Cinci Hani - a 17th century caravanserai; the Arasta (old) bazaar where craftsmen still use old Ottoman methods; and the restored mansion, Kaymakamlar Evi. Overnight Safranbolu
Today, your will drive back to Istanbul through Bolu on freeway, upon your arrival to Istanbul, your tour will conclude.
