Day 1: Istanbul

Upon to your arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2: Istanbul - Cappadocia

After breakfast in your hotel, there is a full day guided tour which includes St. Sophia the cathedral built by Emperor Justinian in 537 which was the largest church in Christendom for a thousand years, the Byzantine Hippodrome with its various monuments including a 3500-year-old red granite obelisk brought from Egypt and erected here in 390 AD. Then you will continue to Underground Cistern and the famed Blue Mosque of Sultan Ahmet I. After all these visits, you'll venture into the labyrinthine Grand Bazaar. This afternoon you will be transferred to Ataturk Airport for your flight to Kayseri. Upon to your arrival you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 3: Cappadocia - Istanbul

Depart from the hotel and visit the Devrent Valley to see the unique fairy-chimneys. Drive to Pasabagi (Monk's Valley) to see the most interesting mushroom-shaped pinnacles. In the afternoon visit Open Air Museum in Goreme where the remains of rock-cut churches and Christian settlements date back hundreds of years. After the tour you will be transferred to Kayseri Airport for your flight to Istanbul. Upon to your arrival you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 4: Istanbul - Canakkale

This morning we depart early for Gallipoli. On arrival in Gallipoli you will visit, The World War I open air museum, Anzac Cove, Lone Pine Cemetery, Johnston’s jolly (Turkish and Allied Trenches and tunnels), The Nek, and Chunuk Bair -New Zealand Memorial. This afternoon we cross the Dardanelles and arrive in Canakkale.

Day 5: Canakkale - Kusadasi

After breakfast we drive to the legendary Troy, a 5000 years old archaeological city, where you will see a reconstruction of the fabled Wooden Horse, famed for its use in the Trojan War! After our tour we continue on to Kusadasi for the evening.

Day 6: Kusadasi

After breakfast today we drive to Pamukkale known for its natural thermal spring waters with healing properties. Due to the chemical properties in the water, pure white colored travertines and stepped water terraces have been created on the mountain slope. It is for its resemblence to cotton piles that it is called 'Cotton Castle' in Turkish. We then visit the travertines and the ancient city of Hierapolis which has the biggest Nekropol with 1200 gravestones in Anatolia. The sacred pool also is one of the highlights of the site where shallow thermal waters ripple over a wonderful scattering of ancient roman ruins that lie beneath. This evening we return to Kusadasi.

Day 7: Kusadasi - Istanbul

Today you will be met at your hotel for a full day tour of Ephesus and Virgin Mary’s House. First, visit the ruins of the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Then proceed to the Ancient City of Ephesus where you will explore some of the best preserved theatres, fountains and buildings in the world. A definite must while in Turkey! Then visit to the House of Mother Mary where she is supposed to spend her last years together with St. John. After the tour you will be transferred to Izmir Airport for your return flight to Istanbul. On arrival in Istanbul you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 8: Istanbul

Today is a free day in Istanbul until our arrangements end with a departure transfer to the airport.
