This morning we enjoy a relaxing 2 hour cruise along the Bosphorus - the strait that divides European from Asian Istanbul. Afterward we enjoy our classic city tour taking in the Hippodrome area, the stunning Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace and the underground cistern. This afternoon offers free time to do as you please, maybe hone your bargaining skills at the Egyptian Spice market or famed Grand Bazaar – one of the largest covered markets in the world, boasting more than 4000 stores. Istanbul - Gallipoli today we depart to the WW1 battlefields on Gallipoli Peninsular. This afternoon, enjoy a guided tour (subject to ANZAC Cove opening hours and traffic conditions) of the evocative war memorials that dot the region, for example; Lone Pine, Chunuk Bair, Johnston’s Jolly, the trenches and Kabatepe - the modest ANZAC museum. We will chill in Canakkale for the day then transfer to Gallipolli Peninsula in the evening to take our places (depends on the ballot) amongst the many at the Dawn Service site for the atmosphere charged ANZAC Eve vigil. First light heralds a poignant bugle call and commencement of the Dawn Service. After the service and armed with your maps, you’ve a chance to independently explore many of the trenches and memorial sites as you head up to Lone Pine or Chunuk Bair for the Australian or New Zealand National services. After breakfast at the hotel drive Kusadasi. En route visit Pergamum, one of Turkey's oldest civilized settlements and it has been inhabited from pre-historic times through the Ionic, Roman and Byzantine civilizations. It has yielded archeological treasures whose importance is recognized world-wide.Vist the ancient city of acropolis founded on top of a steep hill (300 m) make this area a fascinating stop for history-loving tourists. Also visit Altar of Zeus. Continue to Kusadasi for overnight. Overnight Kusadasi
After Breakfast morning drive to Ancient city of Ephesus where you will explore some of the best preserved theatres, fountains and buildings in the world. A definite must while in Turkey. Then visit to the House of Mother Mary where she is supposed to spend her last years together with St. John. Return to Kusadasi for overnight stay. Overnight Kusadasi
On this final day you will be transferred to Izmir airport for your flight back to Istanbul. End of services
