Day 1: Istanbul

Welcome to Istanbul and the start of your voyage discovering the 'Land of the Sultans' You will be met upon arrival at the airport by one of our friendly representatives and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore.

Day 2: Istanbul

After breakfast enjoy a tour to some of the magnificent sights of Istanbul. You will get to explore the underground Cisterns, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and the Underground Cistern and the world famous Egyptian Spice market. Enjoy the evening at your leisure to explore.

Day 3: Istanbul - Canakkale

Today we explore ANZAC Cove and the many memorials dotted across the WW1 battlefields. Our guided tour takes in sights such as ANZAC Cove, Lone Pine, 57th regiment Memorial and the war museum, Chunuk Bair Memorial and cemetery, the Nek and the many fortified trenches still clearly visible amongst the scrub after all these years. We the cross the Dardenelles for our overnight stay in Canakkale.

Day 4: Canakkale - Kusadasi

This morning we enjoy a short guided tour of Troy! The legend of the lost city of Troy and Homer’s poetry was bought alive by it’s rediscovery in 1863. Driving further south to the ancient ruins of Pergamum, home to one of the steepest, vertigo - inducing amphitheatres in the classical world. Pergamum was also famous for its Asclepion (medical centre). We continue to Kusadasi on the Aegean Coast via a leather manufacturing house.

Day 5: Kusadasi

Today, we explore legendary Ephesus - positively the best-preserved classical city in the eastern Mediterranean. Ephesus, under the Romans was a vast city with a population nearing 250,000, revelling in prosperity from commerce and visiting pilgrims who came to see its great Temple of Artemis - one of the Seven Ancient Wonders. We have plenty of time to tour the marble ruins of Ephesus. Be sure to see the famous Library of Celsus, the gymnasium of Vedius, Stadium, and the Great Theatre. We'll see ancient public toilets, a brothel, fountains and various temples.

Day 6: Kusadasi - Pamukkale

Driving east, we arrive at Pamukkale - home of the famous gleaming white calcium terraced pools. Take a barefoot walk along the traverines or opt for a dip in the warm waters of the Pamukkale Thermal pool, with its submerged fragments of fluted marble columns. Our last stop for the day is the ruined spa town of Hierapolis, famed for the curative powers of mineral springs, dammed to create communal baths.

Day 7: Pamukkale - Kas

Today we make our way to Kas, along the way a visit to the Church of St. Nicholas (Santa Claus) in Demre. Arriving at your hotel, enjoy some time to relax and unwind. (OVERNIGHT AT THE EKICI HOTEL)

Day 8: Kas

Open your eyes this morning to the glistening blue waters of the med. Today you are at your leisure to relax and fully enjoy the Sun, Sand and Sea. (OVERNIGHT AT THE EKICI HOTEL)

Day 9: Kas - Antalya

After breakfast enjoy a drive on the palm-lined boulevards of Antalya. You will stop at Hadrian's Gate, the Clock Tower at Kalekapısı, Republic Square with its dramatic statue and excellent views of the Mediterranean coast and the distant Olimpos Mountains. Descending from the square, you explore the narrow and winding streets of historic Old Antalya (Kaleiçi), filled with graceful Ottoman-era houses and gardens. The remainder for the afternoon is at your leisure to explore.

Day 10: Antalya - Konya

En route on our drive to Konya we enjoy an insightful visit to the incredible Roman ruins of Perge and Aspendos. Arriving into Konya, relax at your hotel after the days journey.

Day 11: Konya - Cappadocia

This morning after breakfast enjoy a visit the Mevlana monastery before heading north east to Cappadocia. We stop en route at an ancient caravanserai and later take a short walk through the beautiful Ihlara Valley.

Day 12: Cappadocia

Today we we explore the stunning Goreme Valley, fairy chimneys, amazing troglodyte villages, Uchisar Castle and Derinkuyu underground city. Stopping on the outskirts of Goreme Village we have the opportunity to see Pigeon Valley where century’s old pigeon houses are carved into the cliffs, the pigeon droppings that litter the area have been used as fertilizer on crops for generations.

Day 13: Cappadocia - Nemrut Dagi

Today driving through scenery we head to to Nemrut, visiting a 13th century Caravsan inn en route. We will also enjoy a stop for lunch along the way to help break the long journey. (OVERNIGHT IN ADIYAMAN AT ZEUS HOTEL)

Day 14: Nemrut Dagi

Depart early this morning and transfer to the spectacular Mt Nemrut to witness sunrise and explore the remarkable shrine. Continue to the ancient city of Arsemia, once the summer capital of the Kommagene Kingdom. Visit the ruins of the Roman Cendere bridge, over 200 years old and parts of which are still in use today. Continue to the mystical pilgrimage town of Urfa, stopping at the massive Ataturk Dam along the way. Later in the afternoon visit Abraham’s cave and the holy pools of carp that attract pilgrims from all over the world. The day concludes with a visit to Harran, famous for its beehive houses. Day 15: Nemrut Dagi - Istanbul

After breakfast this morning we enjoy a visit to a bald-Ibis breeding farm. The bald-ibis is a vulnerable bird species characterised by glossy blue-black feathers and a bald red head with a white face. Stop for lunch before continuing to the Kayseri airport for your flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Its Sunday why not head out to one of the trendy rooftop bars overlooking the city to reflect on your incredible journey.

Day 16: Istanbul

Sadly your journey comes to an end, we will be sure to transfer you to Istanbul Airport in time for your flight home.
