Today you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Ataturk Airport for your domestic flight to Izmir. Arriving at Izmir Airport you will be met by one of our friendly representatives and transferred to your hotel in Kusadasi.
This morning you will drive to the ancient and magnificent city of Ephesus, one of the largest and most well preserved ancient city’s in the Mediterranean, with Roman theatres, fountains, buildings, churches and temples. Ephesus was originally built on the north slope of Mount Pion in 1000 BC but was later relocated to its current location in 4th century BC. Later, visit the Virgin Mary’s cottage and the Temple of Diana before returning to your hotel.
After breakfast we drive to visit the incredible white calcium terraces of Pamukkale and ancient Hierapolis, with its Necropolis graveyard of over 1200 graves. The Temple of Apollo, the Plutonium, dating back to third century BC and the sacred pool are some of the highlights of Hierapolis. The shallow thermal waters ripple over a wonderful scattering of ancient roman ruins that lie beneath.
This morning you fly to Keyseri from nearby Denizli Airport. Arriving here, our guide will collect you for transfer to the hotel. Later today enjoy a visit to the Devrent Valley to see the unique fairy-chimneys. Drive to Pasabagi (Monk's Valley) to see the most interesting mushroom-shaped pinnacles. In the afternoon visit Open Air Museum in Goreme where the remains of rock-cut churches and Christian settlements date back hundreds of years.
We start the day with a hot air balloon ride then after breakfast , hike through the Rose Valley with visits to the famous churches. Afterwards, we head to the old Christian village of Cavusin. Stop for lunch near Pigeons Valley and then continue on to see the Kaymakli Underground City. Last stop of the day, is the Ortahisar natural rock castle before returning to your hotel.
Today after breakfast you will be transferred to the Kayseri Airport for your domestic flight to Istanbul. Upon arriving in Istanbul you will visit the spice bazaar. Followed by a half day Bosphorus cruise. Probably one of the most famous waterways in the world, the Bosphorus Strait forms the boundary between Europe and Asia. It also splits Istanbul neatly in two, making it the only city in the world to straddle two continents
Today after break fast we bid you farewell and transfer you to Ataturk Airport for your onward flight.
