Day 1: Istanbul

Upon your arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your own leisure.

Day 2: Istanbul

Day at leisure.

Day 3: Istanbul

After breakfast in your hotel, there is a full day guided tour which includes St. Sophia which was the largest church in Christendom for a thousand years and the Byzantine Hippodrome. The Ottoman Empire produced marvellous architecture and you'll see Topkapi Palace and the Blue Mosque of Sultan Ahmet I. After, you'll venture into the labyrinthine Grand Bazaar. Optional dinner with a Turkish show is available.

Day 4: Istanbul - Cappadocia

After breakfast, we depart for Ankara where we will visit Mausoleum of Ataturk and its Museum. This is the burial place of the national hero who founded modern Republic of Turkey. We then depart for Cappadocia. After a picturesque trip along the Salt Lake, we will arrive in Cappadocia for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Cappadocia

Early in the morning an optional balloon trip is available. After breakfast you will have a full day excursion in Cappadocia including the Kaymakli Underground City, the place early Christians hid from persecutors, Open Air Museum in Goreme to see the best examples of Byzantine art in Cappadocia in rock-cut churches with frescoes and paintings and a natural fortress in Uchisar.

Day 6: Cappadocia - Pamukkale

Early departure for Pamukkale. On the way, visit the 13th century Seljukian masterpiece Sultanhan Caravanserai before arrival in Konya. We visit the Mausoleum of Mevlana also known as the Green Mausoleum or Green Dome, is the original lodge of the Mevlevi Whirling Dervishes, a mystical Sufi Muslim group. It contains the tomb and shrine of the Mevlana, or Rumi, which remains an important place of pilgrimage.

Day 7: Pamukkale - Kusadasi

After breakfast, visit the ancient Hierapolis which has the biggest Nekropol with 1200 gravestones. The sacred pool also is one of the highlights of the site. There shallow thermal waters ripple over a wonderful scattering of ancient roman ruins that lie beneath, graveyard and the lime cascade. Thereafter, we continue our drive to Selcuk to visit Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.

Day 8: Kusadasi

Morning drive to Ancient city of Ephesus where you will explore some of the best preserved theatres, fountains and buildings in the world. Then visit to the House of Mother Mary where she was supposed to spend her last years together with St. John. In the afternoon, experience an upbeat fashion show, with unique leather products manufactured ın Turkey.

Day 9: Kusadasi - Canakkale

Early departure for Pergamum, one of Turkey's oldest civilized settlements inhabited from prehistoric times through the Ionic, Roman and Byzantine civilizations. Visit the ancient city of acropolis founded on top of a steep hill (300 m). Also visit Altar of Zeus, before continuing to Troy, a 5000 years old archaeological city, where you will see a reconstruction of the fabled Wooden Horse, which used in Trojan War.

Day 10: Canakkale - Istanbul

After breakfast, we will cross the Dardanelles then continue to Gallipoli to visit The World War I open air museum, Anzac Cove, Lone Pine Cemetery, Johnston’s jolly (Turkish and Allied Trenches and tunnels), The Nek, Chunuk Bair.

Today you have the day at leisure.

Day 12: Istanbul

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
