Day 1: Istanbul

Welcome to Turkey! Upon to your arrival, we are met by our representative and transferred to our hotel. Remainder of the today is at leisure.

Day 2: Istanbul

This morning we enjoy a full days tour, starting with a visit to the impressive Topkapi Palace, which served as the palace of the Ottoman Sultans between the 16th and 19th centuries. Then to the magnificent St. Sophia.s Basilica. We continue our visit with the Blue Mosque, famous for its six minarets, beautiful blue Iznik tiles, unique architecture and marble latticework. We then visit the Byzantine Hippodrome where chariot races and competitive athletic events took place. Finally we visit the famous vast and bustling Grand Bazaar for orientation.

Day 3: Istanbul - Canakkale

Departure early morning for our afternoon tour of Gallipoli. After arriving at Gallipoli we visit, The World War I open air museum, Anzac Cove, Lone Pine Cemetery, Johnston’s jolly (Turkish and Allied Trenches and tunnels), The Nek, Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial and family grave sites. This afternoon we have a boat trip to look back on where the Anzac’s landed at Anzac Cove.

Day 4: Canakkale - Sirince

This morning we explore legendary Troy; a 5000 years old archaeological city, then you will see a reconstruction of the fabled Wooden Horse. WE then cross the mountain Ida and arrival into Pergamum, one of Turkey's oldest civilized settlements which has been inhabited from pre-historic times through the Ionic, Roman and Byzantine civilizations. Vist the ancient city of acropolis founded on top of a steep hill. Flollowing this we visit Altar of Zeus and then continue onto Sirince.

Day 5: Sirince

Travelling on we drive to the Ancient city of Ephesus where we will explore some of the best preserved theatres, fountains and buildings in the world, a definite must whilst in Turkey. After Ephesus we return to Sirince and visit the Church in Sirince before we enjoy a relaxing afternoon of local wine tasting in Sirince.

Day 6: Sirince - Istanbul

After breakfast we are transferred back to Istanbul by bus. On arrival we check into our hotel.

Day at leisure in Istanbul to explore the markets.

Day 8: Istanbul

Today we bid your farewell with a departure airport transfer to Istanbul airport in time to meet your onward flight.
