Day 1: Siem Reap

Say farewell to your group tours friends with an included transfer to the airport to catch the early morning flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia. Welcome to the Cambodia! Upon arrival, you will be met by your tour guide and driver before being transferred to your hotel. Later, a guided exploration of Angkor Wat (the biggest Hindu temple in the world and one of the largest religious monuments in the world, was built between the 9th – 13th century. In the early evening climb to Bakheng Hill to enjoy the superb view as the sun sets over Angkor Wat.

Days 2-3: Siem Reap

Enjoy the today and tomorrow at leisure, you can rent a motor bike or taxi or the day to explore some of many ruins in the region.

Day 4: Siem Reap - Battambang

Leaving Siem Reap we drive towards the border of Thailand, stopping at Puok District to visit the National Silk Centre. Arriving at your hotel in Battambang, we head straight out to see Phnom Bananm, where you can climb to the top to reach the 12th Century Prasat Bannon Temple.

Day 5: Battambang - Phnom Penh

We continue the last leg of our journey to Phnom Penh. Arriving here, a sightseeing tour of the city will take in the Royal Palace, the incredible solid silver-floored Silver Pagoda and the National Museum, a treasure chest of Angkorian and pre-Angkorian artifacts before ending our city tour with a visit to Wat Phnom pagoda and shopping at the Russian market.

Day 6: Phnom Penh

After breakfast we travel southwest of Phnom Penh to Choeung Ek. The memorial just outside Phnom Penh was an orchard and a Chinese cemetery prior to 1975. During the Khmer Rouge regime, it became one of the killing fields, the site of the brutal executions of more than 17,000 individuals, most of who first suffered through torture and deprivation in Toul Sleng Prison. Choeung Ek is now a group of mass graves and a memorial stupa containing thousands of skulls. This evening, enjoy a boat cruise on the Mekong River and take in the local night life.

Day 7: Phnom Penh

Sadly your journey has come to an end, a transfer to the airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh, where you will connect onto your flight home. (Note there are a few flights daily - we need to know your departure time to offer the best connection)
