Welcome to Vietnam! Upon arrival we will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel for the evening.
This morning visit Ba Dinh Square where silent sentries guard the marble and granite mausoleum where Ho Chi Minh lies in state. After visit Ho Chi Minh humble house of stilts and the famous One Pillar Pagoda and Temple of Literature. A short drive into the countryside leads us to Van Giang village, where we'll attend a cooking demonstration hosted by a local family. After a delicous lunch we return to Hanoi and embark on a cyclo (rickshaw) tour of the winding alleys that make up the atmospheric Ancient Quarter, otherwise known as the 36 Streets of Hanoi.
This morning transfer from your hotel in Hanoi to Halong City, the drive takes about 4 hours and you will stop off for a refreshment break en route. Upon arrival meet the crew of the traditional Junk boat at the dock and cruise to the famous islands of UNESCO Listed Halong Bay and on to Bai Tu Long Bay. Aside from the cave visit and swimming, there is a chance to explore this stunning area by sea kayak. Return back to the Junk for a scrumptious dinner and watch an incredible sunset over the bay.
Wake up to spectacular views of the bay. Cruise through Bai Tu Long and visit the floating fishing village of Vong Vieng, where you can gain a fascinating insight into everyday life on the bay. Cruise back to the dock arriving in Halong around noon and transfer back to Hanoi airport for your flight to Danang. Upon arrival in Danang, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Hoi An.
This morning enjoy a walking tour around the cobbled streets of this ancient town, which was once of the busiest trading ports in Asia. Picturesque Hoi An has managed to retain its traditional character and charm, with its cobbled streets, markets and row upon row of tailors shops. The remainder of the day is free.
This morning offers an excursion to My Son, the holiest and evocative of Vietnam’s Cham sites. Here at the ancient Kingdom of Champa you'll see the burial tombs of the Cham royals and national heroes. We enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Hoi An town for a free time.
Fly to Saigon today and transfer to your hotel. Ho Chi Minh City, though still referred to as Saigon to all but city officials is Vietnam's most lively, modern and cosmopolitan city. This afternoon enjoy an orientation tour of the city, visiting Notre Dame, an impressive neo-Romanesque Cathedral, the Central Post Office Building, Dong Khoi Street, formerly the center of haute couture and China Town.
Explore the beautiful Mekong Delta today! Early this morning drive to Cai Be and board a traditional Sampan boat at around 10:00am. First stop on your scenic Mekong Delta cruise, is the colourful floating market of Cai Be, where traders in barges full of fruits and vegetables sell there goods. Continue cruising along the scenic Mekong canals to Dong Hoa Hiep Island located between Vinh Long and Cai Be, where you will discover the rural lifestyle and daily activities of the delta inhabitants. After a tasty lunch at Le Longanier restaurant at La Residence de Phu An Resort, a superb Indochine style resort and a short walk along a narrow canal, your excursion ends mid-afternoon. Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City and spend your final evening at leisure.
After breakfast, take the transfer to Tan Son Nhat aiport for the flight to Phu Quoc. Upon arrival, the car will pick up you and transfer to hotel for check in.
