Day 1: Hanoi

Xin Chao! Welcome to Hanoi, one of Asia’s most enchanting cities, full of culture and history. Jasmina will be met at Noi Bai airport by our local guide and learn a bit about this fascinating country on the way to our hotel. Overnight in Hanoi. This afternoon perhaps take an optional excursion to Van Phuc Silk Village.

Day 2: Hanoi

Bright and early Jenny will be collected from the airport and taken to meet Jasmina. This morning we drive out of Hanoi to visit the nice countryside town of Van Giang. Upon arrival, meet and greet with a local family and join them for a cooking demonstration and a visit around the village. After lunch, say farewell to the family before returning to Hanoi for a city tour. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay

Early this morning journey north to Halong Bay (approx 4 hours drive), stopping for refreshments en route. UNESCO Listed Halong Bay is undoubtedly one of Vietnam's most spectacular regions. Thousands of karst limestone and jungle covered peaks and isles, rise dramatically out of the emerald waters of the bay. Spend the day cruising around the islands onboard a traditional Junk boat. Stopping to explore caves and coves and to swim in the emerald waters. There is also the option to Kayak. Enjoy a scrumptious dinner and overnight onboard. Overnight – Junk on the Bay

Day 4: Halong Bay - Hue

Halong Bay - Hue. Enjoy fresh air and the gentle breeze of the bay this morning as you relax onboard the Junk. Cruise through Bai Tu Long and visit the floating fishing village of Vong Vieng - where you can gain a fascinating insight into the daily life of the local people before disembarking at Halong Bay dock around noon. Transfer back to Hanoi airport for your flight to Hue in central Vietnam. Upon arrival in Hue, you are met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight – Hue

Day 5: Hue - Hoi An

This morning we visit the Imperial Citadel and Forbidden City, created in the 19th century for the Emperors under Nguyen Dynasty. We then drive to the outskirts of Hue to the impressive tomb of King Khai Dinh. Enjoy a Veteran lunch at a pagoda before continuing on to Hoi An town. Overnight in Hoi An

Day 6: Hoi An

An 8:00am pick up from your hotel. Take a bike downtown, stop by Hoi An’s colorful central market. Here you will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and learn about the ingredients to be used in today’s cooking lesson. So keep your camera handy. Continue to Tra Que vegetable village. After a welcome drink and a walk through the vegetable gardens where local farmers work on their fields using the traditional methods of hundreds of years ago, you will learn the traditional ways of preparing and cooking Vietnamese food. For lunch enjoy the fruits of your labor. Overnight Hoi An

Day 8: Hoi An - Nha Trang

This morning you are transferred to Da Nang in time for your flight to Nha Trang. Upon arrival met and transferred to the city to visit to the Po Nagar temple, a sacred Hindu site dating back to the 7th century. We then Visit famous Long Son pagoda then stay the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight Nha Trang.

Days 9-11: Nha Trang

Enjoy today and tomorrow and the next day at your leisure. Located along a sublime stretch of beach on the south-central coast, Nha Trang is blessed with a spectacular backdrop of towering mountains and exquisite offshore islands dotted around its turquoise bay. Nha Trang has a dual persona, inland it’s a bustling city of commerce; whilst along the coast it is Vietnam’s most popular beach resort and a veritable haven for tourism. Overnight Nha Trang.

Day 12: Nha Trang - Saigon

Leaving Nha Trang you are transferred back to the airport in time for your morning flight to Saigon. Upon arrival you will drive to Cu Chi tunnels, an incredible underground system covering nearly 250km, was shelter to over 16,000 communist guerrillas during the war. We spend the rest of the day to exploring the city’s grand boulevards, passing famous sites such as the Re-Unification Palace, the Old Saigon Post Office, the Notre Dame Cathedral and end of the day for shopping at Ben Thanh market. Day 13: Saigon - Can Tho

This morning, we transfer directly to Ben Tre for the Mekong Boat trip. Cruising on the Mekong River for sightseeing: the view of the river’s banks, fish-floating market and islands of Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, Phoenix float by. Landing on Unicorn Island, visit an orchard of tropical fruits: Enjoy seasonal fruits and listen to Southern traditional music. Visit a coconut candy workshop to taste fresh candy. Take a horse-cart on the countryside road. Visit a bee- farm and enjoy honey- tea. Discover Vam Chua natural canal (Ben Tre province) by rowing boat. Before returning to My Tho, then continue to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho

Day 14: Can Tho - Saigon

Rise early for a morning boat trip to the extraordinary floating market at Cai Rang. Observe boats jostling for position as the locals engage in frenetic trading and be sure to have your camera ready for some great photo opportunities. Return to Saigon and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure. Overnight Saigon.

Sadly your time with us has come to an end as you are transferred to the airport in time for your departure flight to your onward destination.
