Day 1: Saigon

Welcome to Saigon and the start of your holiday. Upon arrival you will be met by our local representatives and transferred to your accommodation. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight Saigon.

Day 2: Saigon

Today, we explore city’s grand boulevards, visiting the Re-Unification Palace, the former palace of President Thieu and his predecessors. Today this building is a museum and venue for Government official receptions. Inside you can visit the President’s room. Nearby is the Central Post Office and the Notre Dame Cathedral, built between 1877 – 1883 and is one of the city’s major landmarks. We continue to visit the War Remains Museum, where you can learn a lot about the Vietnam War. In the afternoon, we visit the colorful Emperor of Jade Temple, Phuoc An Hoi Quan Temple, its roof exquisitely ornamented with dragons and sea monsters, and the Thien Hau Pagoda dedicated to the goddess of the sea. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 3: Saigon

This morning you are free to further explore Saigon on your own. After lunch we drive to visit the amazing Cu Chi Tunnels where we learn the first hand how the Viet Cong survived in the extraordinary underground existence during the Vietnam war. Drive back the city in the late afternoon. Overnight Saigon.

Day 4: Saigon - Can Tho

We leave Saigon in the morning then depart to My Tho boat station which belongs to Ben Tre. Cruising on the Mekong river for sightseeing: the view of the river’s banks, fish-floating market and islands of Dragon, Unicorn,Turtle, Phoenix. Landing on Unicorn Island, visit an orchard of tropical fruits: Enjoy seasonal fruits and listen to Southern traditional music. Visit coconut candy workshop, taste fresh candy. Get on a horse-cart on the countryside road. Visit a bee- farm and enjoy honey- tea. Discover Vam Chua natural canal (Ben Tre province) by rowing boat. Back to My Tho then we get on our van to drive to Can Tho. Check-in and free for the evening. Overnight in Can Tho

Days 5-7: Can Tho - Hoi An

We spend the early morning discover the floating maket named Cai Rang which is one of the most colorful markets in the area. Visit some orchards then back to the hotel to pack the luggage. After lunch return to Saigon where you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to hotel in Hoi An. Enjoy the rest of today and the next couple of days at your leisure. Overnight in Hoi An

Day 8: Hoi An - Hanoi

Leaving Hoi An you will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight to Hanoi. Today enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Hanoi. First we start at Ba Dinh Square to see Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum from outside (it’s closed from 1100am), and visit the One Pillar Pagoda. We then visit Temple of Literature, the first Vietnam University dating from 1070. Afterwards take a Cyclo tour through the Old Quarter, walk around the Hoan Kiem Lake before attending a famous Water Puppet show. Overnight Hanoi.

Day 9: Hanoi - Mai Chau

Leaving Hanoi this morning we have 4 hour drive to Mai Chau – one of the most beautiful valleys in Northern Vietnam. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the host and have lunch. This afternoon, we will visit the ethnic villages as well as the tea/ corn farms, It’s a great chance for you to take the photos as well as enjoy the nice nature. Overnight in Mai Chau – at homestay (multi shared and simple facilities)

Day 10: Mai Chau - Hanoi

Spend the morning to discover the nice nature that is located in the are before lunch. After lunch return back to Hanoi. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight Hanoi.

Day 11: Hanoi - Halong Bay

Early this morning journey north to Halong Bay (approx 4 hours drive), stopping for refreshments en route. UNESCO Listed Halong Bay is undoubtedly one of Vietnam's most spectacular regions. Thousands of karst limestone and jungle covered peaks and isles, rise dramatically out of the emerald waters of the bay. Spend the day cruising around the islands onboard a traditional Junk boat. Stopping to explore caves and coves and to swim in the emerald waters. There is also the option to Kayak. Enjoy a scrumptious dinner and overnight onboard. Overnight – Junk on the Bay

Day 12: Halong Bay

Halong Bay - Hue. Enjoy fresh air and the gentle breeze of the bay this morning as you relax onboard the Junk. Cruise through Bai Tu Long and visit the floating fishing village of Vong Vieng - where you can gain a fascinating insight into the daily life of the local people before disembarking at Halong Bay dock around noon. Transfer back to Hanoi arriving mid afternoon. End of Arrangements.
