After breakfast, we drive you to Ha Long Bay (165 km), the most wonderful scenic sight of Vietnam, the World Natural Heritage Site with over 3000 limestone islands and islets rising fantastically from the clear and emerald water. Board a traditional-style wooden junk to travel around this magnificent landscape, visiting it’s amazing grottoes and caves. This morning we continue our cruise exploring the natural beauty of Halong Bay. This afternoon we return to Hanoi airport for your flight to Hue. VN1545 Departing Hanoi at 19h15/Arrive in Hue at 20h25 Hue is Vietnam's last feudal capital where the Nguyen Dynasty once ruled Vietnam during period 1802 - 1945. This small and quiet city is well-known for magnificent architecture, pagodas and royal tombs laid in small villages and surrounding hills and transfer to hotel.
This morning enjoy a boat trip on the romantic Perfume River visiting Hue’s oldest and most revered site, Thien Mu Pagoda, and the mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes. In the afternoon, visit the Imperial Citadel, the Purple Forbidden City, the mausoleum of Emperor Tu Duc and the bustling Dong Ba market.
Today we drive south to Hoi An town, one of the major trading centres of South East Asia in the 16th century. We stop at Danang’s Cham Museum which contains the finest collection of Cham sculpture in the world and the famous China Beach. This afternoon you have free time to relax. After having a buffet lunch at Vin Pear resort, transfer to Nha Trang airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh ity. Depart Nha Trang on VN1357 at 15h30, arrive Saigon at 16h25. Arrive in Saigon - the most exciting city of Vietnam, a Mecca of commerce, also a city with a chequered history and a rich culture, its pagodas, museums, public buildings, parks and boulevards make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Vietnam. This morning we travel by road into the Mekong Delta (125 km), stopping in the town of Cai Be, well-known for its floating market. We start boating to Cai Be Floating Market for a first-hand experience of various commercial activities such exchanging goods, fruit and many other commodities on their vessels. Landing on the small villages to enjoy panoramic views and fresh fruits. We continue cruising to Vinh Long Province via small canals to enjoy the charm of the Upper Mekong Delta. We also pay a visit to some handmade family business such as the coconut candy mill and the crispy rice popcorn. We continue visiting Binh Hoa Phuoc village, known as the green pearl of Vinh Long town, where you can pamper yourself in the incredible natural surroundings.
Today we take an excursion to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels (60 km), an incredible underground tunnel network of approximately 200 kilometres hand-constructed by Vietnamese guerillas, virtually beneath the U.S bases, to stage surprise attacks.
