Day 1: Saigon

Welcome to Saigon, the largest and busiest city in Vietnam. You will be greeted at the airport and transfered to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 2: Saigon

After breakfast we travel out of Ho Chi Minh city and spend full day floating through waterways on an exploration of the lush Mekong Delta region. Upon arrival Cai Be province, we take a boat ride visit a local orchard and the Cai Be floating market, an interesting style of market in the Mekong Delta. Everyday, the boats filled with fruits, vegetables and other local products anchor along the banks of the River, waiting for traders and customers. Here we can see local people being selling, buying, and exchanging goods from their boats. Leave Cai Be, we will see the coconut candy, rise crispy cake, rice paper making workshop… continue to visit the local house and strolling on the village paths. For lunch, the local people will serve you the local delicacy - an Elephant’s-Ear fish. After that you walk around the village to sea local's daily activities if you wish. We return to Saigon in late afternoon.

Day 3: Saigon - Hoi An

This morning, we explore city’s grand boulevards, visiting the Re-Unification Palace, the former palace of President Thieu and his predecessors. Today this building is a museum and venue for Government official receptions. Inside you can visit the President’s room. Nearby is the Central Post Office and the Notre Dame Cathedral, built between 1877 – 1883 and is one of the city’s major landmarks. Neo-Romanesque in form, the Cathedral is the major seat of the Catholic religion in modern Vietnam. We continue to visit the War Remains Museum, where you can learn a lot about the Vietnam War. End the day for shopping at Ben Thanh market. The afternoon is free for further exploration of the city until take a short flight to Da Nang and then transfer to ancient town of Hoi An. Day 4: Hoi An

In the morning, we will enjoy a half-day walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200-year old Tam Ky ancestral house, the Japanese Covered Bridge and the colorful local markets. The afternoon is free to relax or hire a bicycle to ride to the nearby beach. Overnight in Hoi An

Day 5: Hoi An - Hanoi

After breakfast we transfer to Da Nang airport for your flight to Hanoi, the charming capital of Vietnam. In the afternoon, we start our city tour with visit to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university dating to 1070. We then explore the fascinating Old Quarter of Hanoi by cyclo, a series of 36 ancient streets named after the traditional products they sell. We continue walking around the picturesque Hoan Kiem Lake to visit Ngoc Son pagoda before enjoy a performance of the unique art of traditional water puppetry.

Day 6: Hanoi - Halong Bay

Early this morning journey north to Halong Bay (approx 4 hours drive), stopping for refreshments en route. UNESCO Listed Halong Bay is undoubtedly one of Vietnam's most spectacular regions. Thousands of karst limestone and jungle covered peaks and isles, rise dramatically out of the emerald waters of the bay. Spend the day cruising around the islands onboard a traditional Junk boat. Stopping to explore caves and coves and to swim in the emerald waters. There is also the option to Kayak. Enjoy a scrumptious dinner and overnight onboard.

Day 7: Halong Bay - Hanoi

Enjoy fresh air and the gentle breeze of the bay this morning as you relax onboard the Junk. Cruise through Bai Tu Long and visit the floating fishing village of Vong Vieng - where you can gain a fascinating insight into the daily life of the local people before disembarking at Halong Bay dock around noon. Transfer back to Hanoi

Day 8: Hanoi - Saigon

A free day in Hanoi to discover the town on your own, Take the afternoon flight to Saigon for the night

Day 9: Saigon - Phan Thiet

Take the 6 hour driving to Mui Ne. Upon arrival, check-in and free for the rest of the day. Overnight in Mui Ne

This morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
